Watching her was like watching a movie.

The way her hair blew in the wind, the way her eyes lit up when she laughed, the dimples that formed when she smiled.
She was gorgeous and I was hopelessly in love with her.

And of course I had to fall for her.

She was the popular girl.
One of the most gorgeous girls around.
Also she wasn't popular just because of her looks, she was popular for her personality. She was the sort of girl that would talk to anyone, or sit with the new kids at school when they looked lost. She wasn't one if the snobby, bitchy, rich kids.
Her smile, alone, could brighten up your day and that's what she loved making someone's day worth it.

The thing is, she is Lissa and I am Luke.
I am plain, boring old Luke. A girl like her, wouldn't go for a guy like me.
Not to mention the fact that she has a boyfriend, Nick.

Thats the stupid part, I fell for a girl who I have no chance with.

"Luke! Luke, man stop day dreaming!" My friend, Callum laughed as he waved his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my daze.

"Sup!" I say casually. Trying not to draw attention to the fact that I was actually daydreaming about Lissa. Callum, Michael and Ashton all knew about me having feelings for Lissa, they also knew that we went back to being childhood friends.

"Nothing!" Callum managed to say through laughter, I could tell he knew what I had been doing.

"Oh shut up!" I say, punching his arm.

"Didn't say a thing man!" Callum says as Ashton and Michael walk up to us.

"Hey guys!" Michael says, as I notice that his hair doesn't look blue anymore, it actually looks purple.
I decide not to say anything, let that one slide.

The bell soon rings and I notice Lissa walking our way.

"See ya later mate" Michael, Callum and Ashton all say in sinc, they had noticed Lissa as well.

"See ya" I say, as they walk away.

"Hey Luke!" Lissa says, she walks up to me and throughs her arms around me.

I put my arms around her small waist as I say "Hey Lissa"

Lissa and I had been friends since we were only little.
Our parents had spent a lot of time together while we were growing up, and were quite close so that caused Lissa and I to become really close.

So this little hello and hug wasn't unusual for us.

"What have you got planned on this lovely Friday afternoon Hemmings??" Lissa asks laughing.

"Well," I say smiling, "I plan on going home and having a movie marathon. Are you up for that??"

"Oh, definitely!" Lissa says smiling.

"Great! I will see you after this class, meet ya at your locker!" I tell her laughing as she pulls a funny face at me.

"Oki Doki! See you then" she says smiling as she skips away.

I smile as I watch her skip away.

Why couldn't she be mine??

Suddenly I am pulled out of another one of my daydreams by someone or something hitting my jaw.

As soon as I see who it is, I don't even hesitate to throw a punch back.
