The Beginning

Her demons became her friends. Her friends became her enemy. The light at the end of the tunnel was her only escaped, but the darkness behind her was catching up to her. Her sweet smile became a killing smirk and her beautiful laugh became a cry for help.

Today was the day. The day they move from Chicago to Maryland. I was so ready to go because I get to see my bestfriends Huey and Riley. "Y/n, let's go!" My mom screamed. "Coming" I said, running down the stairs. "You move slow" My sister Queen said. I sighed. She is so mean. "Well, are y'all ready?" My mom asked. "Totally. This house is a dump" Queen stated. I nodded. We walked to the car. I was about to get in the front seat when she pulled me back. "In the back lil sis" She stated. "You do realize we're the same age?" I asked. "But who came out first?" She asked. "You" I whispered "Huh? Who?" She sarcastically asked. "You" I said louder. I went in the back seat, laying across the seats.

My sister thinks she's older than me because she's came out first. Did she forget we we're twins. We're the same age. Yet she treats me like a baby.

Once we got there, the neighborhood looked so peaceful. "Well, let's get unpacking" My mom said. I walked to the room that me and Queen were gonna be sharing. "Even when we move were stuck in the same room together" Queen complained, sitting on her bed. "Now isn't the time to rest" I said, "Unpack". "Can you do it for me?" She asked. I gave her a look😑. I shook my head no. "Some sister you are" She stated walking pass me. "What?!" I whispered. I walked down the stairs. "I'm gonna go for a walk" I said softly, leaving the house. It was so quiet on the streets. "Hey, you, new girl!" A voice called. I turned to see a boy with braids. Riley. "Hi" I said shyly. He looked at me really hard. Does he recognize me? "Y/n?" He asked. I chuckled. "Riley!" I cheered, hugging him.

"Why are you here?" He asked. "I just moved here today" I told him. "You live her now?" He asked excited. I nodded. "WoW!" He sighed. "Riley, granddad needs you" A old familiar voice called. I looked up to see the one and only Huey Freeman. His afro so much more bigger than before. "Y/n? He questioned. "Suprise" I said. I tried to hug him, but he wouldn't let me. "Your still a tsundere" I said. "You still call me that" He said. "Y/n just moved here" Riley told Huey. "Really?" He asked. I nodded. "Well ain't that something". "Here, take this" I said, giving them a peice of paper with my number on. "And call or text me whenever you like" I said.

When I got back home, there were pizza boxes on the kitchen. "Pizza for dinner?" I asked. "You know it" My mom said. I sat at the dinner table next to Queen. "So guess what happened today" I stated as my mom gave us our plate of pizza. "What?" Queen asked. "I saw Huey and Riley" I told them. "Freeman?" My mom asked, sitting down. "Yeah. They've grown so much" I stated. "Well maybe we shoud--", "If you say invite them over for dinner, I will cry" Queen said. "Why?" My mom questioned. "That's so cliché" I said. "Well, we should all get together some time" My mom suggested. "Yay" Queen said energeticless. "That would be awesome" I said. My phone than chimed. I looked at it, seeing that I had recieved a message.
