2 weeks later
"Kayla what shift you got" I said as Kayla and Ivory got dressed. Me and Kayla got jobs at some diner while Ivory work at the skating rink down the corner.
" 4:30 to 10:00" Kayla said while she pinned her hair back.
" ok well don't forget to take your break at 9 so you can walk Ivory home" Shana said.
" I don't need anyone to walk me home" Ivory said getting dressed.
" Ivory you almost got mugged" Kayla said.

We had found jobs the same day we went to the pizza place. They were only looking for two girls and Me and Kayla knew that, Ivory couldn't handle any rude people coming her way. So after we came from the Pizza place we decided to do something fun and skating was are favorite thing. Ivory was tearing up the floor with her new dance moves. The manager hired her on the spot.
"Yes mom" Ivory said making them laugh.
Ivory I'm so happy Kayla isn't pregnant I don't know what I'd do if she was. I miss home, my Mom is probably worried sick about me, even though we called that doesn't make it any better.
"What you thinking about V" Kayla asked as we walked right in front of the skate rink.

"I know out of all of us you had the best mom, look Ivory if you want to go back, I wouldn't blame you. You had a good life back in Atlanta" Kayla said.
" it wouldn't be right with out you or Shana,I just want to talk to my mom make sure she's ok" I said to Kayla.
" Then let's go call her and make sure she's ok." Kayla said as we walked into the rink. " No because every time I call she ask when I'm coming home,then she puts Abby on the phone" I said. Kayla's was starting off some where.
" Now what's on your mind Kay" I said looking at the time it was 4:15.
" I actually miss my mom for the first time in 4 years, remember when we were 13 and I came to stay there for a week and I told you it was because I missed you,that was a lie that night Andrew was talking to my mom about having another baby,she said she was ready,but what about me V I was her baby" Kayla said looking at me. I cupped her cheek.
" I know Kay but now you know she is sorry and didn't mean to ignore you for all those years" I said.
"I know Ivory but the wounds are still fresh and she is still with Andrew and I hate him for everything" Kayla said. She waved good bye to me as she walked out. My job at the rink was to teach people how to skate and get big crowds up and moving. It was Wednesday so it wasn't a lot of people so I just asked people hear and there,if they needed help. " Hey My name is Ivory and I wanted to know if you ladies needed any help skating. It was a group of girls, 1 white 3 black 1 Asian and white,1 mixed girl and one Mexican girl.
"No girl we good"the white girl said really loud.
" you thick" the plus size black girl said. She made them laugh.
" well if you need anything let me know" I said as I skated off.
It was hitting 10:25 almost time to go I thought. I walked into the break room and my co-worker Nicole was in there. She was A thick white girl, big booty and small Titties. I hated her all she do is sleep with the manager, her pay checks be hella good to. He always giving her my hours. "Hey Ivey" she said, see se know my name is Ivory not Ivey. Kayla keep telling me to put her in her place but I can't I'm just to nice so I just said Hey to her and kept it pushing. Then our manger Dillon walked in. Y'all white boy blue eyes long Burnett locks, he was cute, but I would never sleep with him for more hours.
" Dillon I'm pregnant" Nicole said. Damn can she not whisper.
" ok why you telling me" He said sitting at the round table with his pizza.

" Oh well I guess we can raise a kid or whatever" Dillon said. He was always, nonchalant about stuff I mean he was fucking one of the other coworkers Anna she was really sweet Asian and white girl.
" Dillon raising a kid isn't that easy" I said sitting beside him. He was a really cool manager just stupid.
" who the fuck asked you" Nicole said.
" watch who the fuck you talking to Bitch" Kayla said as she walked into the work room. I smiled thats my bestfriend.
" or what Kayla, you going to fight a pregnant, women" Nicole said. She acting like that baby protection or sum.
" naw but there are other ways to hurt yo ass with touching that damn baby" Kayla said stepping to her. Dillon stood in the middle.
" alright let's calm down" he said. As he handed me my check.
" bye Dillon" I said as I grabbed my bag and headed out right behind Kayla.
"That bitch" Kayla said as soon as we started walking.
" I know she is so annoying" I said as we turned on broad street. I got the keys out my pocket unlocking the door. We heard the tv on. When I walked in the living room Shana was asleep on the couch.
" hey I'm beat I'm going to shower and head right to sleep" Kayla said. I usually slept in there with her. Old habits die hard.
" SHANA" I screamed making her jump up and fall.
" what" she screamed all I could do was laugh.
" nothing you can sleep in my bed" I said to her she just nodded and walked right to it and jumped in. I changed into a tank and shirts and went into Kayla's room she was already in bed.
" Night Kay" I said pulling the cover over me.
" Night Ivory" she said doing the same.
