The loud clatter and noise of a party was going on downstairs. Seemed like everyone was having a good time but Tony had no interest in it at all. As soon as he felt lonely in the midst of a roaring crowd, he took a bottle of scotch and ran off to his workshop. Every sip he drank, he only got reminded of one thing. Pepper. God he missed her. The breakup had been anything but bearable. He was so close to proposing but of course he messed it all up. The night Pepper walked out with no words, Tony was broken. He couldn't do anything. It was his fault. The 3 months since that night only consisted of drinking and an endless amount of sleepless nights. The panic attacks had gotten worse and he really didn't want to be iron man.
Tony thought he'd get used to it. That Pepper was just an ordinary person. But he knew that was a lie he told himself. Yet he tried to forget about her. Tried to live without her. But here was the great Tony Stark sitting alone in his workshop in the middle of a party wanting Pepper by his side more than ever. Of course he sent her an invitation but there was no way Pepper would show up. He knew her too well. With all the sorrow dwelling inside him, he decided he might as well get back in the party and find something that might distract him.
As he walked through the crowd, he found it amusing that people could be so happy. But his thoughts were cut off when he saw it. When he saw her. Pepper. It couldn't be. But it definitely was her. Maybe Tony didn't know Pepper that well after all. Tony didn't know what to do. Pepper saw him too. And from her expression, clearly she didn't know what to do either. She made the first move. She walked towards him and greeted him with a simple hey. Tony couldn't actually process anything that's happening but he greeted her back. And they conversed. It seemed like nothing changed. It seemed like Pepper was his again. They're silly little banter was going on for what seemed like hours. Tony couldn't believe what was actually happening. The love of his life was in front of him. Talking.

what do you think so far ?? i know nothing happened so far but i just wanted to make it clear that Tony was suffering after the breakup. Anyways, I'll post part two soon. Do tell me what you think of this in the comments and suggest any other scenarios you'd like to see. thanks :-)
