Hunger:: A Thranduil Fanfiction

A Note

Hello!

If this is your first time reading Hunger, please, feel free to skip over to the 3rd section. The others concern changes made from my last book, which you have not read. So scroll on down, read what you'd like, press that nice little star button, if you will, and enjoy your journey!

Now, on the other hand, if you have read the previous attempt, please continue reading. There is some very important information I would like to share.

1) NAME CHANGES

*gasps*

Yes. You read that right. I have changed some names from the last book. Most changes are of minor characters but I did change two main characters' names. Saelind will now be called Dírhael, as the former is feminine and the latter masculine, a fact I did not discover until now. Also, Alakia has been changed into Hastaina, a name with a meaning to be revealed later.

I do hope you guys like the name changes. I've been really researching the Elvish language so that I can accurately represent it, which is another minor change to this story, not nearly important enough to get its own section, but just a little side note.

Anyways. Let's continue.

2) MEDIA

*gasps louder*

Yup! I've also decided to enhance this story with accompanying pictures, maybe some music, and character references. I lay claim to none of them, all are borrowed from the lovely World Wide Web. Let me know what you guys think, and I'd love to get artwork from you as well!

3) Acknowledgements

This story was not a one-man show. I'd be still stuck in the dirt if it weren't for....

4) A WARNING

I think this story will be rated PG-13 for violence. If you've watched LoTR or TH, you should be just perfect to read this, but if it ever gets to much for you, please don't hesitate to tell me to calm down a little bit. I don't think it will be bad, but I don't have a reference point for bad, so just keep me updated on how you guys are feeling!

That being said, violence will be the most mature theme in this book. I'm not a fan of super gory gore or profanity, and kissing (maybe) is the closest two people will get. There also won't be any LGBTQ+ stuff in here, because I simply don't feel comfortable writing that. I'm not trying to disregard your beliefs, but I won't sacrifice my own, so please be respectful. (That being said, a character doesn't need to be LGBTQ+ in order to be fully developed or still have problems. I think you might still enjoy the story.)

Whew! Now that that's out of the way, let's continue with a disclaimer:

I CLAIM NOTHING OF TOLKIEN'S CHARACTERS OR SETTINGS AS MY OWN!! Aside from my own characters, I have no rights to the Tolkien universe. I do, however, own my ideas and this story, so please refrain from copying it. I put a lot of effort into writing it and don't want it to be stolen. Please, be considerate!
