Riley's POV
I woke up and noticed Corey was still sleeping and the sun was barely coming up. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time and saw it was 6 in the morning. I got up and went to the kitchen area and I made a pot of coffee and I walked to my bags and grabbed some clothes and I walked to the bathroom and shut the door locking it. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I dried off and got dressed in a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, an AC/DC tank top and a pair of VANS. I left my hair how it was and I did my make up. I walked to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee and I walked to the couch and grabbed my laptop and I sat down and started looking for jobs.
"Riley?" I heard Corey say. His voice was raspy and it was cute.
"Couch." I said taking a sip of my coffee.
"Why are you up? It's early." He said.
"I never sleep in." I said. I felt the couch dipped in beside me. I looked at him and he looked tired as hell.
"Why don't you become a YouTuber?" He suggested.
"I've thought about it." I said.
"And?" He asked.
"I don't know what content I would make." I said.
"Be a beauty guru." He said.
"That actually sounds like a good idea." I said.
"I'm full of good ideas." He said. I smiled and yawned.
"Okay, but I don't know where to get the cameras and stuff." I said.
"That's where I come in." He said.
"I still need to be able to buy the stuff." I said.
"I can help." He said.
"No, Corey. I can buy my own equipment." I said.
"Okay, I can take you to where to get it then." He said.
"Okay." I said and I started looking for houses or apartments in the area. "Now for the fun part." I said.
"It's expensive to live out here." He said.
"I know." I said. He fell asleep again. I giggled and grabbed my coffee and took a sip and I kept looking through apartment listings.

I spent a few hours looking for apartments to rent and Corey's phone started ringing but he was passed the hell out. I shook him a bit and he woke up.
"Hm?" He asked and heard his phone and answered it putting it to his ear. "Hello? Hey. Yeah I'll be home soon. No. I stayed with a friend. No, Devyn is living with someone else. You know that. Whatever. I'll be home soon. Bye." He said and hung up. "I have to get going. That was one of my roommates." He said.
"Okay." I said.
"Are you gonna be fine?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm just gonna go looking for a place." I said.
"Okay." He said and got up and got ready. He gave me a quick hug and walked out. I sighed and my phone started ringing. I grabbed it and saw it was an unknown number. I answered putting my phone to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Is this Riley Sanchez?" The person asked.
"Yes, who is calling?" I asked.
"My name Elise from the apartment listing for the two bedroom apartment in downtown LA." The girl said.
"Oh, hello." I said.
"I have an opening appointment for today at 3." She said.
"I'll take it." I said and saw it was 2.
"I'll see you soon then." She said.
"I'll see you soon." I said and she hung up. I smiled to myself and texted Corey.
Riley: I have an appointment to see an apartment today! 😊
I grabbed my bag, phone and the keys to the rental car I got. I grabbed the hotel room key and put it in my bag. I walked out and walked to the elevator. I got in and I pressed the button to the lobby. The doors closed and it started to move. My phone dinged and I saw it was Corey. I unlocked my phone and went to it.
Corey: Cool, where?
Riley: Downtown LA.
I locked my phone and got off the elevator and walked out to my car. I got in and put my bag on the passenger seat and I started the car and put the address in and I started driving.

I got to the apartment building it was at and I parked and walked inside and into the lobby. I sat down and waited. A lady walked over to me.
"Are you Riley?" She asked.
"Yes, that must mean you're Elise." I said.
"Yes. Are you ready to see the apartment?" She asked.
"Yes." I said and we walked to the elevator and got on. She clicked the third floor button and the doors closed and we started moving. The elevator itself is pretty. We got to the third floor and got off and we started walking towards the left and stopped at a door. The number on it was 28C. She unlocked it and we walked in. I was in awe as soon as we walked in. We walked around and she showed me everything and I was in love. "I really like it." I said.
"It'll be $800 a month. The security deposit is $200. The electricity and water is included in the rent. So, for your first month you'd be paying $1,000." She said.
"Okay, I'm down for it." I said.
"You're actually the first person today who likes it." She said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said.
"I really do. I want it." I said.
"Okay, I've also already looked at your background and everything and you seem perfectly fine. Let me get the lease and a pen." She said.
"Okay." I said. She walked to the kitchen area. I walked into the big bedroom and smiled. It had a walk in closet and a huge bathroom. The other bedroom was a little smaller than the master, it has a walk in closet as well. The bathroom for that one was out next to the room. Elise walked over to me. I read over the lease and smiled to myself. I signed and gave it back to her.
"Alright, when we go back down to the lobby I'll get your key and all that. Also, if you are a YouTuber try to keep it down while filming at night." She said.
"Okay." I said. We walked out of the apartment and she shut the door and locked it. We walked to the elevator and got on. She pressed the button for the lobby. We got to the lobby and stepped off. I sat on a chair and she went into her office. I can't believe this is happening. I'm so happy.
