-About a month later-
Third Person
It had been nearly a month of just goofing off and planning their wedding. It was going to be near the Blackwatch/Overwatch base, Jesse's home, well, past home. He was going to grab the last of his belongings he may have forgotten and move in with Hanzo. He had already grown comfortable with his home and well, it felt like home. It wasn't a living area like Overwatch. No, it was a home. It was always quiet, warm, and comforting. An environment they had both created together. They were getting ready for the big day, the day that they would intertwine their souls in a ceremony. They chose to go with Hanzo's last name, since it sounded better to the ears in both of their opinions.
They were both dressed in their suits, ready to head out. It was nearly half an hour away but, they liked being ready. Or at least Hanzo did and he was able to convince Jesse to prepare with him. They were in the base, well, near it at least. They were in a cathedral that was very close by. All overwatch members were attending and a few other people Hanzo had grown accustomed to over his years in Hanamura.
Hanzo sat down in the cathedral, still taken back is to what was happening. It was completely shocking but at the same time, absolutely beautiful. He felt extremely giddy at the thought of making Jesse his. All his. He felt giddy for nearly the thousandth time today as he grabbed Jesse's arm and leaned onto his shoulder, thinking of how in less than hour they were going to be together. He had no doubts. It was a first for him to be absolutely certain but nonetheless he loved the feeling.
Jesse was just as excited to be able to claim something so perfect. So, beautiful.
___________________________It was happening. Everybody was gathered in the cathedral while Hanzo and Jesse were at the very front on a platform. They had already said all the important words that were part of any other marriage and it was time to exchange rings. Both of them lacked parents so they didn't have to go through that part. Not that either of them wanted their parents to be there.
Then, the last few words were said after the traditional lines.
"You may kiss the groom!"
At that moment, they were pronounced Mr and Mr.Shimada. They locked lips and it felt incredible. It was like none other as they claimed each other. Everybody else clapped wildly as they pulled apart, smiling at each other. They turned around and walked down the aisle, husband and husband.
Hanzo and Jesse would've never thought that they would be together like this, but they weren't complaining. They were doing the opposite, they were thanking fate for allowing them to be together.
They were together. Forever.
