A/N

The girl in this story is Natalie and the guy's name is Jasper. He's the new brooding kid at school so you can see how obviously they're going to end.

If you like it vote for it if you don't... Leave a comment, all criticism is appreciated unless it's stupid or rude. Anyway, thanks if you read! If you could vote that would be great too!

*Beep Beep Beep*

"Please shut up..."

I shut off my alarm clock and rolled over. My mom knocked on the door.

"Honey? I heard your alarm go off, are you waking up for school?"

"Yeah mom just give me a minute..."

"Okay well your father and I are leaving for Hawaii in ten so if we're gone before you come out then just have a good day okay?"

"Yeah mom, I got it."

I sat up and rubbed my face. It's the first day of fourth quarter and a Monday at the same time, I'm sure you can imagine how crappy I feel right about now.

I climbed out of my bed and got ready for school. My mom made me a bagel and I ran out to my friend Clarisse's little red Honda.

"Nat let's go!"

She yelled out the window.

"I'm coming just hold on!"

I got into the car and we were off to school.

"I hear we have a newbie."

Clarrisse said.

"Really?"

"Yeah, you know Erica Jepson right? It's her cousin."

"I don't like her."

"Yeah I know she's like horrible."

We got there and I went to my first class. I sat down and read my book until the bell rang.

"Alright class."

The teacher began his daily lecture on America's history and I was the only one who payed attention. The other students around me tuned out, fell asleep, or secretly texted their friends in other classes. I'm not a goodie good or anything, I just think it's really stupid when people don't take school seriously. Mr. Frisch never called on me and I hated answering so I figure its easier for me and the other students get what came to them.

After first block I was on my way to my locker when Shawn Dipler ran straight into me, knocking my books all over the ground, to be stepped on and kicked around.

"Watch it Shawn you're such a jerk!"

He only scoffed and flicked his hand over his shoulder.

I've had about enough these last couple of days and I believe that this was the last straw.

I dropped the rest of my books and chased him down the hall. I whacked his shoulder and he turned around perfect timing for me to punch him in the face.

"Aw Natalie it was only a joke!"

He held his nose up in the air and trailed his blood to the nurses office. I shook out my hand and watched as the red slowly turned to blue.

I walked back to my books and found them all gathered together in the right order, stacked perfectly on the top of the locker row.

"Well that was really nice."

I muttered to myself.

I went off to my next class. College Prep English class. It's my second favorite because all we have to do is read, anything we want. I'm usually the first here but today I'm the last. I guess punching Shawn in the face took a lot longer than I thought it would.
