Chapter 3

As we take out our notebooks and pens, Michael turns around and asks "Hey, um.. Can I borrow a pencil??"
I look at him irritated and say "I dont know, CAN you?" As I look back down.
He smiles and says "Alright Teacher! Chill. MAY I borrow a pencil?"

I continue writing notes and say "Ummm.... Have you ever heard of back to school shopping?🤔🙄because if you did, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be asking me for stuff right now."

"Damn Jade. Chill!! Here Michael you can borrow one of mine."

*Lia hands Michael her pencil*

"Thanks Lia" he smiles and starts to write. I turn to her annoyed and say "And how is yo dumb ass gonna take notes now??"

"Oh shit! Hmm.......Can I borrow a pencil?" I shake my head and laugh as I hand her my pencil.
"Ahhh you know you love me" she giggles as I reach into my pencil case to get me something to write with.
"Maybe a little to much" I chuckle.

Michael turns around and says "Hey, um... Well I'm new to this town, as you have noticed, and I was wondering if you guys could show me around..."

Before I could say anything, Lia buds in and says "Omg! Of course! Me and Jade would love to!"

"Thanks Lia." He says smiling then looks at me. "So its a double date then"

As I look up slowly from the notes that I was still taking I bite my lip. When my eyes meet his I say "You wish" in a low and seductive voice.

He slowly bites his lip and says "I like stubborn females like you."
I flip my hair back and lean up against my desk, put my elbow on the table and say "I don't think you'll succeed with me."
He looks into my eyes then down to my lips. "Oh you watch and see"

I lean back and continue writing.
"Boy not even in your dreams."

He gives me a smirk and turns around and continues with his notes.

The bell rings as we get dismissed from class. As Lia and I are packing up our things, I drop my notebook and bend down to pick it up. Suddenly I felt someone behind me. I turned around right away and say "Yo what the fuck?!?!?! What are you doing?!" Before I give him a chance to say anything, I shove him out of the way and somewhat speed out of the class in a "pissed off" fashion while rolling my eyes.

Lia walks up to Michael and says "Why did you do that?"
He shakes his head and says "I was just trying to cover her because one, she has a nice ass, and two, there were three guys staring at her and I didn't like it. It bugged me for some reason so......That's why I decided to do that."

She raises an eyebrow and says "Are you jealous??"

He places his hand on the back of his neck and says "Yeah...Kinda...Ugh... I don't fuckin know. Anyways, what class do you have next?"

She opens his binder and checks her planner. "Jade and I have Chemistry together next. What about you?"

Michael pull out his planner from his binder and says "Yeah so do I!"
Lia is shocked and says "Oh shit. Let's see how Jade will react."

They walk out of the classroom and make their way down the hall to Chemistry class.

"What the fuck are you doing here?!" I snap at Michael when I see him walk into the classroom.
"Um this is my class too."

I roll my eyes and think to myself:
'Lord have mercy on my soul.😩'

The teacher waits for everyone to arrive and a few minutes later shut the door to the room and waits for a few seconds for everyone to take their seats.

She announces that she has already set up lab partners for us. When she finally got to Michael's name, I wouldn't be surprised if she paired him up with Lia.

"Okay Michael, your partner will be.....Jade"

I look up right away and say "Are you sure I'm his partner?!"

My teacher looks at me concerned and Says "Uh...Yes Honey, I'm sure I made the List" In A confused tone. "Do you want me to change it?"

"No Mrs.Knight. It's fine and I appreciate it though. Thank you." I say fake Smiling

Mrs. Knight smiles and says "Alright class, please sit with your assigned partners and let's hope that this will be a great year!!'

Michael turns to me and says "Well, I guess we are partners now..."

I sign and say "Unfortunately, we are..." With the type of weird smile that you would give a stranger as you pass by them.

He sits down and places his hand on my thigh. "Well its not unfortunate for me."

I got the same uncomfortable feeling as when he licks and bites his lips.

'Holy shit. His hand feels good there though. GET IT TOGETHER GIRL!!😩😩'
I thought to myself.

I smack his hand away and say "Can you please stop?"
"Sorry there is just something about you that really just....Damn. I dont know...."

'Oh sweet baby Jesus. What do I say?! What do I do?!"

I turn to him and say "Well when you figure it out, let me know."
