*(Y/n) POV*
We were riding in the carriage in a comfortable silence while Louise and Georgia drive through the square. I was admiring the people outside and the scenery. How do people live like this? With the lies surrounding their lives. I sigh, but keep looking outside. The carriage came to a abrupt stop. The two looked at each other before I opened the door and saw another carriage in our usual parking spot. I step out and hold my hand out for Mistress Helena to grab. She stands and gracefully grabs my hand as I guide her out. I see part of our contract sticking out on the back of her neck, so I move some hair to cover it. We walk towards the store with her in front of me.
As we walk past the carriage, I try to find out what house is here. I shake my head and keep following my Mistress. Once we get to the door, I hold it open for her to walk in and she steps in to the store as the bell alerts the owner. After we both step in, we see a young boy, or should I say man, admire one of the dresses. He was wearing a top hat with a little cloak surrounding the top part of his body and a cane in his right hand. There was also a blue ring on his thumb. He turned to face us showing his big blue eye and an eyepatch covering the other. He gives us a kind smile and bows slightly. "Helena Charlitin, I presume?" The boy asks. I am very confused, but remain calm. Mistress curtsies and looks at the boy.
"Earl Phantomhive. What brings you here?" She asks with grace. So this is the queens guard dog. I guess the rumors were true that he's more like a pup with a big bite.
"Just a little business to discuss. Did you get her letter yet?" The Earl asks. Helena gives me a side glance and I shake my head, knowing he was talking about a letter from the queen. The Charlitin's have been known as the Queens kitten. We always find the information with stealth and secrecy. She looks towards The Earl and shakes her head.
"I haven't yet. Is it that serious that you need to come to my shop?" She asks teasingly. Ciel gets more tense, but he doesn't show his annoyance. "Oh and this is my butler, (Y/n)." She said motioning towards me. I put a hand over my chest and bowed my head down slightly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Earl." I say formally. He motions me up with his cane and I take my place next to Helena again.
"Pleased to meet you as well." We all hear the door bell ring again, alerting everyone another person has walked in.
"Sorry young lord, but it seems that..." a tall man with raven colored hair and piercing red eyes stopped talking as soon as he saw us here. He looked slightly shocked, but quickly recovered by smiling kindly and bowing like I did. "My apologies, I didn't realize that Lady Charlitin was visiting this soon." He stands with perfect posture and looks at the two of us.
"Sebastian, what were you saying before?" The young Earl asked. Sebastian? Why was that name so familiar?
"I was saying that the man we chased seemed to have vanished." Sebastian explained. I looked at him curiously. I guess he felt me looking at him because we made eye contact and I immediately froze. He shook his head and looked back towards the Earl.
"Very well. Helena, could we speak in private please?" The Earl asks formally. Helena nods and she looks at me expectingly.
"(Y/n), go shopping with Sebastian and be back here in an hour." She told me. I felt the emblem on my hand heat up slightly, but I nodded my head. The two walked off into a back room and I was left alone with Sebastian. I took a silent deep breath and started heading towards the door. Suddenly, I was roughly pushed to a wall, while Sebastian looked at me with Demon eyes. My eyes widen and I feel some fear wavering. He was scowling and he was actually a foot taller than me. I looked up and I felt more angry than nervous now.
"And who are you supposed to be, my lady." He forced out. His hands were next to my head as he tried to be threatening. I showed no emotion, but caused my eyes to be shown. He doesn't change his expression, but he steps back a little and gives me a smile. "Please excuse my rudeness, I was not aware of Lady Charlitin making a contract with the cat." He says teasingly. His eyes reverted to their natural red. I rolled mine and changed mine to their natural (E/c). I turned and headed towards the door, thinking Sebastian would follow behind.
~Time Skip~
I had just finished all of the shopping that I needed to do and was on my way back to the store. I had at least six bags with three in each. "Really wish Sebastian was here to help, the bastard." I said to myself. I realized he was Sebastian Michealis after he showed his eyes. It's quite surprising to see him so formal, but I guess things change. I felt a presence behind me, but kept straight.
I was about halfway from the store, but I felt something heading towards me and jumped to the left seeing a man? Woman? Person? Jump next to me with a chainsaw stuck in the ground. The person had flamboyant red hair and was mainly wearing red. He look at me through his glasses towards me with a devilish smile. I wasn't scared, but more like confused. He laughed teasingly.
"Really thought the new demon I was hearing about would be another man. No bother, I'll just have my fun cutting you into shreds!" He ran towards me with his chain saw in the air, ready for him to swing. I dodge most of his attacks, until it grazed my shoulder. I winced, and started back up into the alley that was behind me and make a run for it. I heard echoes around me of this persons laughing, but at the other end he was there standing there leaning on his chainsaw. I stopped where I was and panted. He lifted it up and started it. "You didn't last that long." He said sadly. Suddenly, a black blur was in front of me.
"I'm sorry Grell, but you'll have to excuse me and my lady." A posh voice said. I looked in front of me to see Sebastian looking at the red head. I was slightly confused until he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Bassy!!!! How have you been darling? And you mean that demon is your lady?" He said pointing to me. I tilted my head, but I was being pushed out of the alley before I could really comprehend anything.
