Chapter 2

I knocked on the door. I heard someone yell "One Minute!" Alex came from the kitchen. "Jo!" He yelled up the stairs. He opened the door for me.
"Thanks." It's a Sunday that means Jo's not working today unless it's an emergency. "Hi!" Jo came down and gave me a hug. "You ready?" Jo asks. "I am so ready!" I yell and then we gave each other high fives. "Bye baby." Jo gave Alex a kiss. "Bye." He said shutting the door behind us. "Alex is so awesome. Don't you think?" She asked me. "Yeah so perfect I may take him from you." We both laughed.

We got to the hospital. Our plan today was for me to get a job there. I've only been in Seattle for 2 weeks. I met George and Callie when they got married. Callie loved me. I don't know why she just did. The whole time they were there Callie always hung out with me. "Ashley?!" I heard someone from behind me. "Callie?" I say as I turn around. Right as I turn around she gives me a big hug. "Hey, how are you?" She pulls away from the hug. "Good." "How's George?" She hesitated for a second. George had an affair with Izzie so they got a divorce. "Look Callie if you want to cr-" Then she just broke out crying. "I'll be right back." She ran to the bathroom. So I ran with her.

"Callie?" I ask looking at the sink to be filled with mascara. "I'm sorry it's just- just- he was so-" Then she went back into tears. "I saw you guys. You were awesome and meant for each other. Did you listen to him? He's sorry. It was a mistake Callie. He got drunk and now Izzie's gone. Don't worry about me taking him from you next, I like him as a friend." She looked at me. "Really?" Callie stopped crying. "Yes. Now when your ready tell him. Marry him again. I'll keep an eye on him for you. To make sure he doesn't do anything." I rub her back. I'm slightly taller than her. "Okay," She stood in a confident stance. "I will." She laughed. "Thank you Ashley." Callie hugged me. "No problem. Plus Mrs. O'Malley wants grandchildren." We both laughed.

"Finally!" Jo said staring at me. I look at her and mouthed 'Girl Drama'. "Oh. Callie you okay?" Jo asked. "Yeah I'm fine." Callie said. Then her pager went off. "Oh no." "Go Callie." I said. "Okay let's talk to Chief Webber." Jo smiled.

"Chief?" Jo knocked on his door. "Yes Wilson?" "I have someone who wants a job here." I waved at The Chief. "She was with Callie and George when they got married. Plus she's George's best friend now." Jo was still standing in the door way. "Ashley. Ashley Nicolette."

The next day I went to his office. "It says your last name is Fra-" I cut him off. "Yes, but I like to use my middle name." I smile. "Alright." He sat there reading as I just sat there. "Your hired." He said putting down the paper. "Oh my god really?!" I said excited. "Thank you so much!"
