"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" I screamed in frustration, staring at my reflection."What is this red bump on my cheek?!"
Oh the Horror
"IS THIS A FU-" realisation struck me that it was just a "-mosquito bite?" feelings of absurdity and embarrassment filled my whole body.
I looked around my room afraid someone heard my moment of lunacy, although I was sure no one did.
"MISS ARE YOU OKAY?" a muffled cry was heard outside my bathroom door.
'Just my luck, my maid heard it.' a thought came through my mind wondering how she heard me.
I covered my face crouching as a form of hiding myself from the extreme humiliation, heat rises up from my neck to my cheeks.
But was interrupted by the deafening knock,
"MISS? MISS GRACE! ARE YOU OKAY?!"
Grasping my situation, I answered,
"Yes Elina,I'm fine!" my voice on the brink of cracking, but managed to send the message of authority and reassurance,
Regressing back to my troubling situation, a small red mosquito bite was clearly showing, the soreness of it isn't making it better.
I grabbed quickly went outside of the bathroom and I turned to enter another small room with no door just beside the bathroom.
It was what I call the "girl cave",
In that small room opposite to the entrance was a make up table, a big mirror and a small mirror beside it, around the table was multiple drawers, each was labeled and separated according to their type,Eyeliners
Concealer
Bronzer
Foundation
Eyeshadow
Lipstick
And moreIt was heaven,my type of heaven
I smiled, good vibes coming back forgetting about my previous state. Then I worked my magic, although I know I didn't really need it so I put light make up but put concealer on the bite and now it no longer existed.
My outfit for the day was white sleeveless top with a bomber jacket and high wasted light-blue jeans finished off with a white pair of shoes
Although it was simple, it was comfortable enough for me to wear for the second day of school.
A sigh of satisfaction escape my lips as I admired myself.
I put my hair in a bun and head out to the dining table.I smiled just as I distinguished the familiar man reading his newspaper.
"Hey daddy," with a kiss on his cheek I went to sit down.
The maids already putting my breakfast on the table.
"Hey sweet heart, where's your mum?" he took a sip of his coffee and laid it down.
