Jimin's mornings always started like this. She woke up early in the morning, always on time to catch the sun rise from the east, peeking behind a group of cherry blossom trees and greeting the world in earnest. In the summer she would have especially liked to go out in her balcony and watch it from there, but ever since one of the maids had found out, her balcony door had been locked, the key in one of the various staff's possession. The door now had no use to her and was more of an ornament, like most of the stuff in her room.
Sighing in disdain, Jimin wrapped the blanket further around her body as she pressed her face into the window. Her actions left a temporary imprint on the glass and she couldn't help but try to amuse herself by drawing on the now foggy window. Smiling softly, she looked at the grandfather clock that stood on one of the four walls of her room. A quarter to 7, Jimin thought, glancing at the closed entrance to her room, they should be here soon.
