They told her.
She knew it.
She's going to die.
She's got brain cancer .
That's why she fainted.
In a few hours She is going to start the dreaded chemo. She went to sleep whilst she could.
Waking up Indigo heard a gentle voice saying,"It's time." She opened her eyes to find that it was Bethany, her nurse.
They led her into a shadowy room. Indigo had heard a humming sounds coming from the machines.
As she got closer to the bed they turned the light on.
It was breathtakingly bright.
With great horror she relised that she was going to loose her looks. The only thing she thought was good about her.
I can't do this.
She turned around to run out the room; away from all the horrendous things that had been happing in her life.
"Oh no you don't"
She sat on the clean bed and let the dreadful stuff run through all her fragile limbs.
It felt like you had pins and needles. I should just switch off.
As she closed her sapphire-like-eyes. The mummers about her grew louder and louder until it sounded like they where screaming.
'Indigo Indigo' Bethany shook her. She sat up and was horribly sick on her lap. Again and again would it ever stop. They had to get a bucket, a clean bed and clean clothes.
She fell asleep as her head touched the pillow. Wishing that all this was a terrible ,terrible nightmare.
