Annie and I walked back to my place. We sat on the balcony and talked nonsense for hours. Just as the sun had set, and the moon had rose, I saw the same girl I had seen standing by the lake. I peered out to the fields, as the girl got closer. I must be going crazy. This can't be happening.

"Earth to Monica, hello?"

Annie waved her hands in front of my face. I blinked rapidly and turned to face Annie.

"Do you see her to?"

I asked, Raising one eyebrow. She looked out to where I was pointing. She looked baffled.

"See who, exactly"

I looked out to the lake still pointing, but as soon as I looked. The girl had vanished...

"See.. see.. I'm sorry, I thought I saw something.. it must have been a shadow."

I looked over at Annie, who was now laughing.

"Oh Moni, how you make me laugh"

Annie pronounced. I smiled a crooked smile, and forced a weak laugh out. As Annie began jabbering on, I felt as if we were being watched.. I felt something claw my calf. I bit my lip hoping it would go away. I turned around quickly, to see the blood shot eyes of the girl. She grabbed my face and pushed me down to the ground. Annie sprung out of her chair, not knowing what had happened,  she when to help me up. She sat me back on the chair.

"Monica what just happened, are you alright? "

I shut my eyes hard, then, quickly opened them, to see the girl had vanished..

"I saw a.. bug, I saw a bug"

She looked at me with a worried face.

"We better get you inside, I'll get you some water"

Annie, helped me up and walked me to the couch. She brought me a glass of water and sat next to me.

"I better be going, I'll call you when I get home, stay safe"

As Annie walked out, I saw her jacket lying on the kitchen bench. I grabbed the jacket and tucket it under my arm. I ran out to catch her, but as I stepped out, I saw her...  saw her talking to the girl,  he girl who haunts me, the one who I see on my dreams. I gasped, as I saw them both vanish into thin air..

I stumbled backwards trying to process what had just happened.  As I sat back down, I heard a car pull in.  I ran to the window, to see Tristan.  I raced out and wrapped my arms around him.

"Hello"

he said. His voice sounded sweet.  Butterflies filled my stomach,  each time I heard his voice.

"h h hello "

I spat out. We walked inside,  He had brought home Chinese. He placed it on the bench.

"Are you okay,  you look like you have seen a ghost"

"I I'm fine,  just tired"

I answered. He smiled softly.

After we had finished eatting,  Tristan had suggested we go to the lake. I didn't want to go after what I had seen.  But I couldn't say no to Tristan.

We walked down to the lake, His hand touched mine. I looked at him and smiled. He grabbed hold of my hand,  and walked me down to a patch of grass.  It was the place we had first met, 6 years ago.  We laid down facing the stars.

"look a shooting star"

Tristan whispered.

A light flashed above us. I closed my eyes,  making a wish. As I opened them,  I saw Tristan down on one knee. I sat up quickly.  Butterflies filed my stomach.

"Monica, Lee,  Archer..  will you marry me? "

Tristan opened a small case.  Inside was a diamond ring. I looked him In the eye.  I felt like I was going to cry.

"Y.. Y..  Yes!! "

I whispered.  A smile grew along on Tristans face.  I leaped onto him,  hugging him tight..

The air was still, The stars gleamed.  The moons light beamed down,  Reflecting onto the lake. It was a perfect night..
