Stuttering = Shyness??

Don't you just hate it when you're reading a character x shy! reader and the reader says really long sentences but stutters like crazy

Like, shyness isn't just stutteriiiiiiiing *drowns in tears*

And when you're shy you kinda try to talk as little as possible but I've seen freaking paragraphs of nothing but stuttering, like??? That's not what shyness is???

Plus, you can be shy without stuttering, so ???

BEING SHY IS WANTING TO TALK AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, AVOIDING EYE CONTACT ETC, NOT STUTTERINGGG

Yeah the occasional stutter is normal but reading this,

"H-h-hi, m-my name i-is K-K-Kaitlin a-and I l-like a-a-anime, i-it's nice to m-meet you!"

Is just no =3=

And they'll portray the shy reader as, like, really bubbly and talks a lot but stutters like crazy??? Which makes no sense??? 'Cause if you're shy then you don't want to talk much??? I guess it all depends on how shy you are but still???
