Chapter 6

Experiment 07 ( POV )

The door creaked behind me.

Turning around I found the man standing there, one arm leaning at his side, while the other holding a half worn out cigarette burning in his mouth.

" You still shouldn't be up, but you seem to have gotten a lot better than when you first arrived here."  The man said.
My gaze turned towards him. Still unable to believe the fact that he was so beautiful. The man burned out his cigarette on a glass ash tray, then made his way to me. He leaned closer to my face, and rested his forehead against mine.

" Seems like your fever is still quite high, I'll bring some magic restorers and antibiotics from downstairs. "

He walked away and left the room. My face flushed a deep red and my heart skipped a beat. What... Is this feeling in my chest?

I walked around the very large room that had been lit with the moons light. I then made my way to the window once again, and opened it. A cool breeze had brushed past my face. My white hair that had portions of blood soaked in it flowed side to side.

" Your cold will get worse." The man said bluntly, standing at the door behind me.

I looked up at him and he set the tray down with the medicine, on a table.

" Alright boy... What is your name and where are your parents? I don't intend to baby you forever. "

What are parents? Name ? He had mentioned them before but I didn't comprehend. A ringing noise had been sounded. The man had taken out a cellular device and began to speak.

" Hello, Tachibana Akihiko speaking. Yes....yes.... The files have all been sent to my fax... Until another day then... Thank you. Goodnight."

Tachi....bana, Aki..hi..ko.
He looked back me as he put away his phone.

" It seems you still cannot speak. " The man said quite irritatedly.

" You should take a bath before going back to rest, your clothes are covered in blood and ripped. I'll have the bath ready in 10 minutes with a change of clothes. Ah, but can you even take a bath with your injuries? "  He said furrowing his brows.

I tilted my head at him and tried walking again but my feet ached once more, and I tripped. Before hitting the ground, a pair of masculine arms had caught me.

" See? I told you. Now lay back down and wait until I prepare the bath. Sheesh."

I did as I was told and laid back down. My voice was raspy, I could speak a little but instead chose not too.

Akihiko (POV)

Why was that little boy so injured that his body went into its magic regeneration stage. Of course he has exhausted his power, but the question is why? He won't even speak.

I twisted the handle on the tub and set the temperate of the water. Soon after, the water began to fill itself up within the tub. I made my way to my bedroom, and picked out clothes that were too oversized but we're all I had for someone his size.
