The next day, Hildegard, Clio, and Hugo came over. Hugo's big brother, Axel, accompanied him since he offered to babysit Sofia and her siblings as well as Hugo himself.

"I hope Sofia and Amber reconciled," Hugo frowned.

"If they didn't, then I'm sure they will sooner or later," Axel assured him.

Suddenly, Amber showed up, feeling happy. "Hi, there," she waved.

"Hello, Amber, you're awfully happy today," Hildegard pointed out.

"I take it you and Sofia reconciled?" Hugo surmised.

"We sure did," Amber nodded.

"Is that a new necklace?" Clio asked.

Amber was wearing a shiny new emerald necklace. "Yes, Sofia gave it to me," she nodded.

"Yes, I did," Sofia smiled.

"Good to know," Hugo smiled.

Everything turned out okay for Sofia and Amber. Amber learned this lesson before, and she learned it again: it wasn't okay to just read someone's journal/diary no matter how curious you are about what they wrote. It also wasn't right to steal that journal to avoid getting caught reading it. Amber wouldn't like it if anyone did the same to her, and she learned to be more respectful of Sofia. Now if Sofia and Amber could teach the same to Hildegard, everything would be fine.
