Third Person's P.O.V
"Father, you don't understand!", Taehyung screamed in frustration, tugging at the brown strands of hair angrily.
"Stop messing up your hair like that son", his mother tutted, flattening it again, "Seokjin spent an hour fixing it".
"I don't care!", Taehyung huffed, purposely messing it up again to get on his mother's nerves. He turned back around to his father who sat on his throne with scrunched eyebrows. "I don't want to marry him father, hell, I don't even want to see his stupid face!"
"But why Taehyung dear?", his mother went to sit next to her husband and worriedly glanced at said man.
"I've been saying this since I was young!", Taehyung yelled, annoyance bubbling up inside of him, "Do people here even listen to me!?"
"I do", Namjoon said but muffled it with a cough so the king and queen couldn't hear it.
"It doesn't matter what you want or don't want. You are the prince and have turned the legal age of eighteen which means you can finally marry Prince Sehun", his father spoke sternly, ignoring the look of hatred flashing in his son's eyes.
"And this is exactly why I ran away", Taehyung muttered and even though his parents didn't catch it, his servants Jin and Namjoon did. They had trouble covering up their surprised gasps and shortly glanced at each other.
He then stormed out of the throne room with his two servants hot on his tail. They soon caught up to him and started firing questions but Taehyung ignored all of them.
"Where's Jungkook?", he gruffly asked and when they didn't answer he stopped in his tracks and balled his fists. "Where the fuck did they lock him up!?", he growled, backing them against the wall and seeing their eyes fill with fear.
"Dungeon", Namjoon croaked out, "Heaviest armed cell".
"Great", Taehyung muttered, stomping off into the dungeon's direction.
Jungkook sat cold and shivering on the damp stone ground. He had brought his knees up to his chest and tried to contain his warmth and sleep at the same time. He didn't know where Taehyung was and if he was ever going to get out of this hellhole. When loud footsteps echoed through the dark hallway, he thought it was a soldier again bringing him his portion of old and rotten bread. Once he saw the face of an angel, that angel being his boyfriend Taehyung, he jumped up.
"Hi", Taehyung sighed, relieved to see his loved one alright. Well... if alright meant locked up in a dark dungeon.
"Hey", he replied, not sure how they'd go from there. Taehyung found out Jungkook was an assassin and Jungkook found out Taehyung was the prince of the kingdom nearby the one he lived in.
"I- um suppose I should apologize", Taehyung began, taking a step closer to wrap his fingers around the cold bars.
"Why?", Jungkook asked, eyebrow arched.
"For dragging you into this mess and not telling you I was a prince", he answered awkwardly, "That deserves an apology I think".
"But I didn't tell you I was an assassin and you almost got raped and killed because of me", Jungkook stepped closer too, eyes locked onto the younger.
"I guess we're even then?", Taehyung said unsurely, "I mean- if you don't get killed because of my stupid father".
"Have you told him the truth yet?"
"No", Taehyung sighed, "I'm afraid that when I do that, he'll surely lock me up in my room like he did years ago and I can't help you when I'm locked up myself".
"I get that but it'd help my situation", Jungkook spoke, "Actually- scratch that, he's already aware of the fact that I kill people for a living so I'm getting hanged anyway".
"Don't say that", Taehyung said, a light crack in his voice, "I'm going to get you out of there. I promise".
"Pinky promise?"
This made Taehyung let out a breathy laugh, "Pinky promise".
"Why are you dressed up like that anyway?", Jungkook decided to lighten the mood and comment on Taehyung's abnormally fancy clothes, "Going to meet the prince?- oh wait- that's you!"
Taehyung rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's behavior, realizing he was trying to make the situation better but that was hard when you can't change the fact he's in prison and you're talking through steel bars.
"You're right actually", Taehyung fumbled with the white shirt he was wearing, "I'm going to meet Prince Sehun from the kingdom you live in".
"Prince Sehun?", Jungkook questioned, recalling catching a glimpse of him a few years back, "He's a good looking fella. Why you visiting him?"
"I don't want to visit him", Taehyung frowned, "But my parents are forcing me to".
"Why-"
"Prince Taehyung! The carriage is waiting!", a voice sounded from the entrance of the dungeon.
"I better go, don't want to piss my parents off more than I have already", Taehyung sighed, "Actually I do but that's not the point. I promise to see you after visiting Prince Douchebag. I promise!".
Jungkook was aching to kiss Taehyung but the bars prevented him and his boyfriend was gone before he knew it.
Little did he know Taehyung was off to see his fiancé.
