Chapter Two: A Walk home

"Alright..." Namjoon stood up. "I have papers to grade. What about you?"

"I'm all done here..." Jungkook stood up taking a few papers. "I guess I'll grade these at home.." Jungkook took a look at Jimin's paper and added it to the stack to take home. Jungkook set the papers into his leather case and walked out of the class with Namjoon.

Along Jungkook's way, walking out of the school he spotted Jimin sitting down alone drinking canned coffees like it was his drug. He sat under a tree of cherry blossoms just finishing his 3rd can of coffee.

"Park Jimin?" Jungkook walked over to Jimin. Jimin flinched and looked up towards Jungkook.

"Yes Mr.Jeon?" Jimin asked.

"Why are you still here? You should be heading home.." Jungkook crouched down and picked up an empty can.

"I don't want to go home..." Jimin claimed opening another can of coffee.

Jungkook held Jimin's arm from drinking another can. "Too much of something good can be bad for you. Are you upset?"

Jimin gave the canned coffee to Jungkook and decided to stand up. "....No I'm fine.."

"Why don't I walk you home?" Jungkook asked while picking up Jimin's leftover empty cans of coffee.

"Are you going to talk to my father?" Jimin looked upset.

"No silly, I'll walk you home to make sure you don't go loitering around." Jungkook went to a nearby trash can and threw the cans away walking out of the school gates with Jimin.

At first it was awkward. Jimin had nothing to say to the new teacher as he led the way. He urged himself to start conversation. "M-Mr. Jeon? Do you like teaching music?"

Jungkook looked at Jimin and smiled. "Yes I do! I love music.. And I love to teach."

"How nice, Mr.Jeon. you seem very kind and smart! I wasn't paying attention much in class today... I already know about the periods of music."

"I can tell. You aren't like the other students.. So far, I've noticed You are very smart. Do you have friends?"

Jimin nodded. "I have many! They are kind of trouble makers but they mean well! Do you have friends Mr.Jeon?"

"I... Well actually so far I only have Namjoon, Mr.Kim Namjoon."

"Oh! I understand." Jimin saw his house from afar and slowed down his pace.

Jungkook realized Jimin's pace has slowed down as they were coming close to a house. "Is this your home?"

"...N-no..." Jimin lied looking down. The house was a two story home, the house was white and had a small balcony to a room and in the front yard there was poorly planted roses.

"It looks horrible." Jungkook stated. "These plants are horrible too!"

Jimin's eyes widened. "Mr.Jeon! How could you say that about my house?!"

"Ha! Caught in a lie. I knew it was your home"

"Very intelligent, Mr. Jeon." Jimin giggled.

"Alright, go home, eat, study and have a great rest. I'll see you tomorrow." Jungkook waved at Jimin then continued to walk noticing Jimin stood still at that spot not wanting to go in his house.

"Bye Mr. Jeon... See you tomorrow!" Jimin waved smiling.

Jungkook kept walking until he found his house. Jungkook stepped into his home and threw himself to his couch. The home was calm and peaceful it was styled like a modern Japanese style home. Jungkook secretly loved Japan and hoped to live there soon but he wanted to teach and so far, teaching in busan was what he was capable of doing. "Ugh... I'll grade the papers later." Jungkook thought to himself hugging a small blue plaid pillow. He set a timer onto his phone for 45minutes, and set calm music to help him take a nap.

Jungkook took a short nap on the couch sleeping with a small pillow tired from work and walking.

When Jungkook woke up 5 minutes before the timer, he scoffed and stopped the alarm. The song was already done, silence filled the room and Jungkook got to his suitcase sitting down on the floor setting the pages onto his small table and began grading the papers. After a few piles of papers, he came across Jimins, the answers were left empty and drawings of small roses were everywhere. "Park Jimin.... I see your laziness is starting to kick in." Jungkook bit a pen looking at the roses decorated all around the page.
