Chapter Twenty-seven: Graduate

       It was the following week, Jimin's graduation day. He will be graduating from Aran High-School. As Jimin placed on his black gown he looked at the mirror and felt nervous about accepting his diploma infront of many people. He held his cap and walked out of his room not wanting to be late. The black gown was clipped together in the center so all that was shown was his black dress pants and classy shoes. "Abeoji, we'll be late.."

         Jimin's father was sitting on the couch as always not looking like he would go anywhere. "Go on your own..."

        "W-why can't you just...DO SOMETHING FOR ONCE! I have the most perfect goal in life right now... I've achieved it and YOU ARE JUST SITTING THERE!!" Jimin shouted holding his black cap tightly. Jimin's father got a bottle of beer and popped it open still lying on the couch as Jimin placed on his cap angrily. "THAT IS THE LAST TIME I GET STEPPED ON" Jimin snatched the bottle and flung it onto a wall until it shattered and beer was everywhere. "I bet Eomma had to do that in order to leave too..." Jimin adjusted his cap and marched out the door shutting it behind him so his father would ponder about what he has done.

         Jimin arrived to his school where he would graduate in the auditorium. Security was all around the doors holding the pages of students who will be graduating tonight, Jimin walked up to a security and they allowed him in while some school staff guided him to where he will stand to begin the graduation march with his class. He can see Jin from afar taking pictures of some students as they posed cutely. The ceremony was about to begin and they allowed the guests into the big room The lights were dim and Jimin hoped Jungkook was here. As they announced the class of the year, they opened the doors and they all marched down the aisles as everyone took pictures. Jimin looked around hoping to see Jungkook but the crowd was packed and seats were filled up to the next floor. Jimin just focused on marching until they all reached their seats. Soon, they carried on with speeches and singing, Jimin grew worried when they began to call students up to recieve their diplomas. Jimin hoped to see Jungkook from up the stage, he just wanted to know if he came to see him. Jimin longed to tell him how much he loves him.

           After all the names and unpleasant waiting, they got closer to Jimin's name, Jimin began to look around again excitingly to see where Jungkook was. As he thought of Jungkook, he prayed for his life after he graduating to live with Jungkook for as long as they love eachother.

         "Park Jimin." The principal announced as Jimin stood up and hurried over to the white stage decorated with black and white ribbons. Jimin bowed before his principal and shook hands as he accepted his diploma. Along the way he bowed to all of the school staffs and lastly The school Counselor, Jung Hoseok. He looked back at the crowd clapping and only saw Jin standing up for him taking many pictures of his best friend but apparently, no Jungkook.

          After the graduation Jimin stood up and looked around waiting for Jungkook, as everyone began to go home with their parents, Jin ran up to Jimin and gave him a big hug and patted his back. "We did it."

         Jimin smiled and returned the pat with a hug and a smile as he met Jin's parents but still waited in the auditorium for Jungkook. "...please..." Jimin closed his eyes knowing he was becoming the last one in the auditorium. Suddenly he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder and once he turned around hoping it was Jungkook..... it was his father instead. His father took the time to get ready and show up for his son's big night. Jimin teared up and smiled, at least his night wasn't ruined completely.

         Jimin's father set his hand on Jimin's shoulder and smiled. "My son... Made me proud! I'm sorry fo-"

        Jimin hugged his father. "It's alright... I'm just glad you came for me... Did you see me walk with my diploma? Look! It's right here!!" Jimin showed his father the diploma and made his father happy.

         "I saw everything..Let's go eat dinner. You deserve it!" Jimin's father smiled as the two began walking out of the auditorium together.
