First day of high school. It'll be fine. Everything will be fine. I breathe in and out as I close my eyes in the bus. I am unaware of everything happening around me, even the people next to me. Memories start flowing through me.
"Hey Jiwon. You're a monster."
"Ew. Stay away from us."
"No..no guys I'm not. I'm your friend." My hand reached out to one of my old friends, Tiffany.
"ACK!! How dare you touch me you filthy monster!" I felt her hands shove me away as they all ran away from me.
"No...no stop it!" My eyes fly open as I come from my dream. Everyone is looking at me. A man next to me laughed and said, "What what I didn't do anything." The woman next to him stood up and yelled, "No! You were trying to rape me!" I am still dazed as everyone starts confronting him. I watch his eye burn with hate and he runs out dropping a bag of "strawberry juice." As people shove in front and behind me to catch the man, I am shoved to the ground and the bag explodes as a man steps on it. The blood splashes on my face as everyone in the bus start to yell, "It's blood!! That man is a vampire!!" As everyone tries to take pictures of the man, I lick the liquid off my lips and taste it. Ah it's pig's blood.
A young boy around my age comes and asks me if I'm okay. I look up and his eyes meet mine.
"You go to our school?" My eyes travel to his uniform and realize we have the same uniform. "Are..you okay? My name's Jimin and I'm sophomore.". I stand up and run out of the train.
"Class! We have a new transfer student!"
"Girl or boy?"
"It's a girl." I hear the boys woot and the girls sigh and hope the transfer student isn't a hoe.
"Come in." The teacher called. I feel my robotic feet move towards the classroom door. As I enter the boys start to woot and call me pretty and the girls look at me with suspicion. The teacher guides me and tells me to introduce myself.
"Hi! Nice to meet you guys, I'm Park Jiwon and I hope we all get to know each other." As I introduce myself, my eyes travel the classroom to meet Jimin. Oh no....I finish my introduction and the teacher guides me to the seat right next to Jimin. He looks at me and lays back down on his desk.
*RING*
I sit down on a field of grass as I watch a group of boys gather onto the basketball court. All the girls from freshman and sophomore are holding towels and water bottles and snacks. Suddenly, my eyes catch Jimin shooting the ball and making it. Suddenly, a roar of coos and yells fill the courts as all the girls yell, "JIMIN OPPA SARANGHAEYO!!" My faces contorts into a cringed face and all the girls are swarming around him like a bunch of lovesick puppies handing him towels, water bottles, and snacks. Suddenly, the group spreads as a girl saunters to him and leads him away. "AISH THAT TIFFANY IS SO LUCKY!!" My eyes widen as the name is yelled out from all the girls. Tiffany? I huddle myself into a hug as I remember everything she did to me.
--------------------- *Flashback* --------------------
"Jiwon, you're so fast, wait up!"
I laughed and stuck my tongue out at her. "Hurry up Tiffany!" As we slowed down and headed to our favorite meadow, we collapsed on each other and laughed.
We laid on our backs and looked up to the sky.
"Jiwon-ah, let's be best friends forever,ok?"
"Okay~~" I snuggle in her embrace and she laughs and pulls me closer to her.
*1 week later*
"Jiwon. You're..a vampire?" I look up and meet her eyes that are full of shock and disgust.
"Tiffany--"
"Don't say my name."
"You said you would be my friend forever.." I watch as her eyes squint in disgust as she smirks, "Not with a monster. You stay away from me." As I grab her wrist, she looked at me and laughed maniacally. "AHAHA U CRAZY MONSTER!" I black out as my head hits the ground from her push. The last thing I remember is one tear escaping my eye as I saw her back getting farther away..
