Chapter 3

Loren and Ethan stayed up till 3am talking. Lorena wakes up at 8 and heads over to the place without telling Ethan

Lorena: Whoa why am I so nervous? We're just friends I guess, I hope. Maybe I should get breakfast

Ten minutes later Lorena arrives with the breakfast. She knocks on the door and Grayson answers.

Grayson: Oh hey Lorena right?

Lorena: Yeah that's me [feeling awkward]

Grayson: Let me guess Ethan ask you here?

Lorena: Yeah am I took early?

Grayson: No not at all... Well if you wanna wake him up be my guest

Lorena: sure [smiles]

Lorena enters the house and finds her way to Ethan's room. She sees he is peacefully sleeping on his bed she hesitates to wake him up.

Lorena: ill just go for it [takes a deep breath]

Lorena: Hey Ethan is Lorena I brought you breakfast!

Ethan slowly wakes up and looks up at Lorena

Ethan: Oh hey Lor. I didn't think you were gonna show [in a tired voice]

Lorena: I couldn't just leave ya hanging without food. That's crazy [both laughing]

Ethan: Okay ill get up, meet you in the kitchen?

Lorena: Yeah definitely

Ethan makes his way to the kitchen where Lorena sits with Grayson eating rainbow bagels and having a conversation

Grayson: I swear these bagels make me feel like I can do anything

Lorena: Yeah I mean you could if you wanted you just have to believe [giggles]

Ethan: Wheres mine?

Lorena: Here you go!

Ethan: Thanks I honestly didn't wanna eat another one of Grayson's nasty dishes

Grayson: Heyyy Ethan Im a pretty good chef!

All three of them laugh. Grayson walks out to go to the warehouse and Ethan sits with lorena

Lorena: So what's new?

Ethan: Besides how tired I am, nothing much.

Lorena: Same. I was thinking wanna go for a ride?

Ethan: where?

Lorena: A place I call home [giggles]

Ethan: Why nor its not like I have any plans [laughing]

Ethan and Lorena get in the car. Lorena drives Ethan truck to the Hollywood sign

Lorena: See is this cool or what?

Ethan: This is amazing

Lorena stares out at the view while Ethan looks up at her

Ethan: Lorena?

Lorena: Yeah what's up

Ethan: I know its only been 2 days but.. I think I might just like you [laughs]

Lorena: Well I mean Im not all that really. Im not your type don't you want a girl that is more like you?

Ethan: its not that its just... You're different I just thought you would changed when you found out how know I was.

Lorena: Im not like that. I don't changed because I find out someone's real life

Ethan: See that's what's so cool about you. You don't care who I am you still see me as the guy on the plan

Lorena: Yeah I suppose

Lorena stares back at the view. Ethan lifts her face up so she saw his eyes. He leans in for a kiss but Lorena moves

Ethan: What's wrong?

Lorena: I just.. I don't know don't you have a girlfriend?

Ethan: No why. What's up?

Lorena: I heard some things about you and Meredith Mickelson

Ethan: We broke up 3 months ago.

Lorena: What happened?

Ethan takes a deep breath

Ethan: she cheated on me with my close friend. I didn't wanna tell you because I thought you might not like me and think I went for girls like her

Lorena: Its fine. Can we just go? [awkwardly speaking]

Ethan and Lorena go their sperate ways for a day or two. Ethan thinks about Lorena as Lorena thinks about Ethan
