Flames and Frosts: An Opposite Couple

Chapter 1

Gabby: ayo wassup! It's been a long time since I posted a story so this is totally final! Sorry for slow update!

PHOEBE

Ahhh..... Summer. I like Summer. It makes the children want to go outside and play with the animals. And for sure, they want the heat. It will make them go sweaty, and then shower. And then go outside and play again. That's what I want about these children: Faith. They believe that they can do anything with their courage. I am a little rude because I didn't introduce myself. I'm Phoebe Flame. I am the Guardian of Faith. I produce heat and fire. For the record, I don't know my past. But, some things are better left forgotten. I was watching the children playing with the butterflies, but when they saw the clouds getting darker, they frowned. They want to play more. I smiled and raised my staff. I swing it to the right and the clouds flew away revealing the sun. The children returned their smiles and continued playing. As I was flying to my humble palace at the forest, I saw auras of different set of colors. Green, purple, pink, and yellow. I sighed. I guess that North has to talk with us. But, maybe it won't hurt when I came there late. I don't even care if I was late.

JACK

Ugh. Summer. I hate Summer. That was one if the seasons that my powers grow weak. And worse, I woke up in a lake. I don't know about it, but I certainly want to find out. I don't know why I have changed since before, I have brown hair and eyes. But now, I got white hair and blue eyes. I even got a crooked staff. And, I fly by the wind. And, as soon as I touched the ground, icy snowflakes came. Even my staff did that too. How did I know that my powers are weak during Summer? I let the wind take me to a Summer place and tried my powers. They work alright, but it wasn't pure white, it was like a fading color of white. And then, the wind take me back where I woke up, where the season is Winter. It made my powers grow strong. It made me happy, actually. I saw kids on the lake, and they were skating. I want to play with them, but when I was about to touch them, they walk right past through me. It was like I was a ghost. The ghost who never existed in this world. I sighed and flew to where I want. Well, I was just playing with the electric wires when I saw a fast shadow behind me. I followed and boy, it's faster than I thought. The shadow led me to a dark corner with one light on my left.

"Who's there?!" I yelled.

I was about to fly back when an Australian accent called my name. "Hello, mate. It's been a long time. Easter Sunday wasn't it?" Bunnymund came out of the dark into the light.

I laughed. "Bunny! You don't seem mad about that. Are you?"

"Yes. But this is about something else. Thorks?" then I felt a hand got in my hoodie, put me to a sack and tossed me on a magic portal. I opened the sack and saw North, Sandy, Tooth, and Bunny. I groaned. "Ahh. There he is. Jack Frost!" North exclaimed.

"Oh.... You've got to be kidding me."

North pulled me up and some of his yetis brought back my staff. "Thanks." I muttered.

"How's the trip?" North grinned.

"Oh. I really like being thrown in a sack and tossed to a magic portal." I rolled my eyes.

"Well, that was my idea. You know Bunny obviously."

I nodded. "Obviously."

"Sandy. The Toothfairy."

Then Tooth flew to me. "Hello, Jack. I knew everything about you. And your teeth." she smiled.

"My-My what??"

"Open it up. Are they really as wide as they say? Aww..... They look like as precious fallen snow." she cood. Some of the little fairies went around me and squeaked. I smiled.

"And, Phoebe Flame." North pointed out.

"Who?"

"Phoebe Flame. Oh, she's not here." he frowned.

"Who's she?"

"She's the Guardian of Faith. She also has the power of heat and fire."

Ugh. My exact opposite. I was the one who can control the cold, and she's the one who control the heat. Haha. Happy me. "I know what you're thinking Jack. But, I am warning you, she's not just an ordiary girl. Phoebe's an extraordinary girl." Tooth said.

"Excuse me, did someone called my name." I heard a female voice from the shadows. She stepped forward. She has a red, plain cloak with a hood so I didn't see her face. She wears a red long sleeved shirt with a dark brown vest on top. She also has a skinny, brown pants and red boots. She has a golden staff that has a pointy end.

"Ahhh, Phoebe. All of us were waiting for you." North smiled.

"Am I late?" she asked.

"Yes."

"Good." then she removed her hood revealing her short, red hair with orange streaks on the tip. Her bangs were as long as her real hair. She has a scar on her eyebrow and her eyes. Whoa. Her eyes were pure red. Like she was a vampire. She looked at me with a grin.

"Who's he?"

"Hey! I thought all of you know me?" I asked.

"Well, not all of us, Jack. There are even elementors that you didn't know."

"So this Flame girl doesn't know me." I pointed my staff towards her.

She growled. "Hey, Frostbite. I have a name. And that name's Phoebe, idiot."

"Why? Don't you like that nickname?" I stick out my tongue.

"I'll gonna pretend that I didn't hear clearly on what I just heard. You just have to put where your mouth is."

"What's the problem, Flame girl. Afraid to get bullied?" I laughed.

"Jack. I think that you're off the line." North said.

"OH YES HE'S OFF THE LINE!! MORE THAN MY ORIGINAL HEIGHT!! I SWEAR TO MAKE THIS JERK INTO ASHES OR ROASTED JACK FROST!!" she yelled.

"Yup. You're off the line." Bunny nodded.

I saw her eyes turned red and smoke was coming out of her body and so was her staff. Her staff glowed and she opened her palm revealing fire balls as big as a basketball. "TAKE THAT!!" she throwed the fireball and went towards me. I widened my eyes and tried to dodge it. But I felt the skin in my arm burn. I went knocked out at the wall and groaned.
