As the night passed,  things seemed to click in the God's minds. It seemed as if they all had the same dream of what would happen if they followed that rule.

In their dreams was war. War among the gods. They began fighting after blaming one another. They blamed Poseidon for sending his son on that quest to get the golden fleece and bringing Thalia back to life. Poseidon blamed Aphrodite because her daughter was an encouragement. The blame bounced off of everyone, inevitably, Zues was the one who made the decision.

They all awoke and went into the great hall to get breakfast. It was a quiet morning, considering what they all were thinking about.

Finally Athena asked,  "How'd everyone sleep?" Most of them simply looked around. Then Aphrodite said, "I had a really strange dream." Then everyone looked up.

"It showed a war. Among us all. Over this new rule. We began to blame each other for Zeus' decision. We all blamed Poseidon's son. He blamed my daughter. But really it was Zues' decision after all."

Everyone seemed stunned. Then Hermes finally broke the silence and said, "I had the exact same dream." There was chatter and grunts that were agreeing with Hermes.

Poseidon made a point. "What shall we do now that he has cut off all communication and threatens us with  basically our life? We will not just let him step all over us. We must do something about it." Everyone cheered him on in agreement. Then quietly began murmuring thinking of what to do.

Poseidon cleared his throat to silence them. "I have a plan. Instead of turning on each other,  we should turn on the real monster." Everyone looked at each other. "Zues is the one who made the decision, isn't he?"
The gods cheered him to go on."We should form an aliance with Hades. If we can get him on our side we can throw Zues into the pits of Tarturus." He said triumphantly. The gods cheered and roared. "Quiet now! Our plan shall take place tomorrow. We'll try to make contact with Hades after Zues has fell asleep." Luckily Zues went out that morning and heard none of this plan.
