Anna was on the beach, alone, when her phone went off. She answered it, knowing it was her dad.

"Hello Dad," she said. Her dad started yelling at her. Anna knew he was drunk, but the words still hurt. "Dad, stop!" She cried out. That just made him even more mad. He started screaming more hurtful things, louder then before. All Anna could do was listen, and cry. "Please," she mumbled, crying even more.

Shayne was walking down the beach when he saw Anna, on her phone crying. He quickly ran over to her.

"Stop it!" Anna whispered. Shayne had finally gotten to her.

"Anna, hang up the phone!" He said. She shook her head. Anna couldn't. "Please, Anna, hang up the phone!" Shayne looked her right in the eyes. She quickly hung up the phone. Anna gave Shayne a big hug.

"Thank you, thank you!" She cried into his shoulder. Anna was happy he found her.

"Don't cry," Shayne whispered into her ear. "I'm here now, it's okay."
