I look out of the car window at the rain drops that are slowly descending down the glass whilst my parents go on and on about how this move will benefit all of us, even though they may as well be taking to them selfs because me, Tammy and Jasper stopped listening long ago. We used to move around more the an average family should so our parents used to give us the same speech, which we now knew all of the words to, although we eventually stayed where we were for a while, but our mother and father obviously got bored and wanted to move once again.

I hated how we had to move but I knew that no matter what I said, nothing would make a difference.

"You might actually be thankful for this move you know" Tammy whispers leaning across the seat slightly.

"I highly doubt that" I say, as my mum rambles on about 'new experiences' .

"One day" She replies and then goes back to her phone and silence consumes the back of the box-filled car once more.
