I furiously abused the buttons on the controller until my foster mother came in.
"Are you going to school today?" she asked.
"Nah, I'm skipping." I said, my eyes still glued to the flat screen I bought.
"You should. It is the first day of school. Don't you wanna see your friends?" she said and walked further in my room.
"Can't trust anyone." I answered and killed the zombies on the screen.
"Isn't that video game . . . a little too violent?" she asked.
"No," I said and quickly waved her off. She sighed and left me to play my video games.
