Chapter 20

Zuri

I can't believe am between my mother's family, although I didn't see my grand father but my grand mother is so sweet to me.
She looks beautiful with blue eyes, no wrinkles on her face ...she looks like 30's , no one will believe she is 98 years old.

I have three aunts , two were so welcoming like grand ma but one of my aunts didn't like me , and whenever I look at her , I see her sad eyes toward me. It must be that I remind her of my mother.

" You look like Zola , my dear daughter ." said my grand mother with tears on her eyes.

The aunt that didn't like me , her name was Norma .She had blond long hair , and she seems the tallest among them.

"There love was forbidden ...and she's died now " said Norma in despair.

"I can feed on people and heal them too" I said looking down , I can sense it , aunt Norma didn't want me as her niece . Maybe she needs time to accept that her niece is half demon.

Unlike aunt Susan and Ami they were so nice and hospitable to me. I think they were twins, they looked identical , both are dark haired like me with hazel eyes.

" Don't look down , your amazing creature and am happy to have you as my grand daughter " said my grand mother embracing me tightly , I can feel her tears on my shoulder.

Am very Lucky to have them , I felt my mother is closer to me. Its safe to be among them and elated.

While granny was talking about my mother childhood , I saw a tall muscular man with long white beard . He looked at me with his blue eyes , I felt he wanted to say something but then he turned back quickly .

I wonder who he was or what did he wanted to say.

"That's your grandfather dear...he loves you but he needs time like aunt Norma to accept your other half" said my grand mother noticing me looking at door way.

" I hope so " I said gloomily.

" Don't worry ... That day will come, he will accept you as you are " said Katsu sensing my sadness.

He is my angle , his words make me feel comfortable and safe. I love him...

"Zuri ...Katsu , follow me " said my grand mother quickly .

"Katsu hold my hand and we went behind her wondering .

Finally we stopped , we entered to a big room with beautiful designed walls. Granny sat on the middle of the room on green carpet and closed her eyes.

" Zuri .... Katsu , come sit beside me " she said with eyes still closed.

" I have to do this for you both to be safe. I know it's forbidden to use my powers like this but I lost my daughter by obeying the rules and laws .And I don't want to lose a grand daughter too." she continued and her eyes were full of tears.

"What do you mean granny" I asked.

"We cant be always down on earth to save you and katsu. I can't control your demon side but i"ll just upgrade your angle power to defeat any demon easily.....And I'll give Katsu a supernatural power , which is to sense the demon from distance and a power of a normal angle " she said explaining.

"That mean am going to be half angle " said Katsu surprised.

"Yes dear ....half human , half angle"she said coming toward us and holding both our hands.

"Don't worry my girl , just don't worry , everything will be fine" she said smiling .
She closed her eyes again and hold us both tighter . Granny start saying some words that I couldn't understand.
The room lights went off and then on, then a sudden strong wind came in to the room. I felt fresh and energetic.

After few seconds , my grand mother fell on the ground , exhausted.

" Now I can die peacefully" she said tired and hardly breathing.

"No ...no , not like this .....I don't want this powers if am gona lose you...noo please"i said crying and holding my granny on my hands.

She didn't move and her body became heavier.

"Zuri she did this to help you live because she loves you "said Katsu holding me from the back.

I don't want to lose her , not after I found her .... I have to do something .

I closed my eyes and tried to wake her up, I hope this angle powers work to get my grandmother back.

" Zuri.... look at your tears that fell on your granny's face" said Katsu astonished.

It was shinning on my granny's face after seconds I felt her lips moved and then she opened her eyes...she is a life thank god .

"Granny .." I said happily.

"Zuri , now you are powerful angle " she said hugging me warmly.

" So your saying I saved you" I said astound.

She laughed and said " yes dear ..... you did".
