"Zuri, my daughter" said my father welcoming me home.
"Hi dad" I said coldly.
"Finally you decided to come back home" he said.
I just grinned and passed him to my room.
"Let's celebrate for my daughter welcoming" he announced.
Quickly, like magic the whole city of KOLMANSKOP was designed and everyone welcoming me, and don't know most of them, but all are doing what the king ordered them to.
I didn't feel warm or happy for all that, it just feels fake. I know my father is happy to see me after all these years but there is something messing in me, that make me cold it's like a part of me its not there.
"Zuri, tell me how was your journey, it been 5years now" said one of the crowd.
"Back off..... I said in loud voice.
He got scared because am the king's daughter and the loyal family is the most powerful demons than other demons.
I left the party and went to my room, laying down on my bed, thinking to leave again, but where.
"Zuri what happened my girl" asked dad.
"Nothing dad, just tired" I lied.
"Father, am ......I want to go again, I just came to visit you" I said.
"Again.... You don't like living here" said father sadly.
"You're my only daughter, if your not here, then who left for me" he said in low voice.
"I just don't like being what I am" I said loudly.
"Listen Zuri, you are demon and you can't change that" he said strictly and his eyes turned red.
"Do whatever you want, you'll still be a part of me A DEMON" he completed with anger voice and with deep sadness that I can't reach the reason.
"Sorry dad" I said looking down.
He grinned and left, there is a sad part in him which I feel since I was young. If I try to reach that part he avoids me and change the subject always.
He is my only family left for me, my mother died the day of my birth, I don't know anything about her, I wish she was here with us .
My father never remarried again, I think he truly loved her although he doesn't talk a lot about her.
I love my father but there this part in me hate being a demon. Am made to feed on human's suffer and animals, which I don't want to.
