Katsu (chapter 14)

She didn't appear for days now, I was wondering where she could be. This girl changed something in me, I look at window every time my eyes searching for her in the crowed.
I got this feeling , that I want her close to me, to hear her musical voice,touch her dark long hair and look through her wide beautiful eyes. I think am enchanted to her, we don't know each other for long time but she is the only thing I think of the past few days.

"Hello miss, did you saw Zuri today?" I asked the woman that use to work with Zuri in the store .
"No son, I didn't ". She replied.

That day I kept searching for her, but it was hopeless. While I was walking , I saw a board written KOLAMANSKOP TOWN. I went toward the the direction, it says 95km far.
I was curious to know the reason why all citizens get scared whenever I mention it name. so I went where the direction says ,to know more about this city.
The weather was so hot ,it feels like the sun is above my head directly and there was wind which make it difficult to walk. It was dry desert , no water to drink.
I walked and walked till my legs couldn't carry me anymore, suddenly everything turned black and I fell on the ground.
I felt some water on my face, I woke up and saw two men laughing out loud and still pouring the water on my face.
They were dark skinned men , with black torn pants and black shirts, their eyes were red as blood.
Looking at them made me feel pain,i couldn't talk , all I feel was terrible headache and my heart ,as if it was going out off its place.
I didn't understand what was happening or why I felt all this pain.
"stop" I screamed of agony.
"Go...... his mine" a girl's voice said. that was the least thing I remember .
I woke up and she was there sitting beside me.
Her hand was placed on my heart in a Seconds all that pain was gone. she was the one who saved me from those men but how.

"Zuri" I said.
She smiled and gave me water from the wells.
"Drink.... you must be thirsty" she said smiling.
It was my first time to see her smiling it was the most beautiful smile I ever seen. it was like the beauty of the sunset on the sea or like a full moon in a dark night.

"How did you do that" I asked.
"What do you mean" she said looking away.
"I mean how did you handle two men and how did you erase all that terrible pain by just placing your hand" I asked all together curious.

"I told you am different and am dangerous creature, that's why I left , I didn't want to harm you"she said in low voice .

Dangerous, different and she don't want harm me. I didn't get anything, what does she mean by all that. she's different yes I can feel that but not dangerous.

"Just tell me, who you are?" I said wondering.
" I am a demon"she said clouded.

A demon ,that was the last thing I will think of, she can't be demon, those things don't exist in real life only in books and stories , that was impossible.
"How is that possible ?" I said looking at her sad eyes.

"Am a demon and my father is the king of demons and we do exist" she said moving away from me.

"But recently I discovered that am half angle......my mother was an angle . That's how I healed you" she continued still not facing me.
My eyes got widened, that explains everything , it's just lots of things to process.

"Sorry am asking a lot but how-do an angle and demon..i mean" I stopped .
" They were in love although they both knew its against nature but they were consequences"she said gloomily.

"That's beautiful" I said amazed by the story of her parents, even demon and angle couldn't resist their love although it against their nature.

"Now where is your mum" I asked.

" She 'a dead"a tear fell of her eye.
I came close to her and hugged her " am sorry".

"You are a beautiful and I don't care what you are , for me you are Zuri only Zuri " I said touching her pale face.

" So you are not scared and won't run?!" she said surprised of my response.

"Run! after I found you...." I said laughing at her face expression.
" Am glade am with you now " I continued .
"Really" she said still amazed.

" Yes Zuri ... yes . to be honest with you , the past few days, I felt incomplete and you were the only thing I was thinking of" I said.

"I missed you"i continued. and then went close to her and gave her a long hug.
She didn't say anything and hugged me back that was a sign that she feels the same towards me.

"So am in love with a demon" I said smiling.

"Not any demon.... am ascended from the devilish demon side called cacodemoms "she said bluntly.

"And you didn't ask me the most importance question .... what do we eat?" she said coming close to me.

" We cause pain in people or animal and feed on their pain till they die...still not afraid of me" she said in tense voice.

Her face was so close to mine, her breath hits my face and all I can see is her pink lips that I couldn't resist . I drove my mouth down on hers with hunger kiss which splintered her sense . I kept kissing her then went down in her neck she was moaning with pleasure, I can sense this , she wants this. I reached down to her shirt unbuttoned it, she was beautiful and I was blessed to have her beside me, I forgot my tiredness and the reality that she was demon, everything seemed perfect . we had love that night and she was very elated, that was the beginning for both of us,new path we take together side by side.
