Summer's POV

No, that can't be. Not my parents.

Why does every bad thing have to happen to me?

I really needed them.

But now I need my best friends.

"Summer? You there?" He kept repeating

"Yeah. How do they know they got kidnapped?" I asked not that I really want to know

"Well, when the family friend said she forgot something at the house there was a note that said "You better find them before its too late."  And we guess it was too late and the killers got away." Devin sighed

"No. Not me, this is just a dream. This can't be happening. Not to me." I started to cry

"Its okay you still have Molly, me, and your doggies." He tried to console me, it always works

"The dogs that they got for me." I whimpered

"Well, that is true. I will always be here for you. And I have to go, see you tomorrow. Love you sister." He said

"Love you too brother." I said

And the phone clicked off. I curled up in a ball on the ball and started to cry, my parents that adopted me, that took me in and loved me til' the day they die. It can't be true.

I swore I cried myself to sleep because I don't remember falling asleep easily

Why me? Why me.? I whimpered in my sleep

My Dreams:

I dreamed two or three people duct taping my parents mouth and dragging them out of the house, knocking them unconscious. Leaving the note to threaten me and whoever read this. Then shoved them in the trunk of their car.

But I also dreamt the way they got killed and no child wants to see that. They got tied up in a chair once the car stopped to a deserted area. The killers demanded money. But mom refused first, she was about to get shot then my dad jumped and he was the first one to get shot, in the head. Quick death. How did my mom die. It wasn't with a knife. My mom and dad were brave people they never told a lie, and never told what people wanted to hear. But in this case that didn't turn out the way she planned. She was planning to escape. Too late before she could she got worse than my dad beat with bat more than thirty times and then the killers shot her to make sure she was dead.

I woke up sweating to my alarm blaring. I haven't had a nightmare that bad since I don't when, I think when I was fourteen. It was morning time, time to get ready. Oh how I can't wait to be back in Washington.

I showered and got dressed. Put the rest of my stuff in my bag, grabbed the stuff from the drawer and shoved it in the suitcase. Made the bed and tidied up the bedroom and bathroom. I grabbed the hotel room key, my keys and purse. Doubled check that I had Sam's sweatshirt only because, that's the only good memory I had here. Yep check. Cell phone check, charger check.

I grabbed my airport ticket and the suitcases and I was out of here, thank god I thought I never would never get out of here.

"If I leave anything, can you ship it to this address?" I gave my favorite conceirge my address

"No problem, I will double check the room. Hope you had and great stay. Bye." And he waved goodbye

"Taxi!" I yelled as soon as I got out of the hotel
