Chapter Twenty

Ember's POV

"Holy shit, this is a nice house!" I cursed

"Oh sorry. I didn't realize you were right there." I apologized

"I'm fine with it but not too much. But your dad doesn't like you guys cussing even though he does it a lot. Don't tell I told you that." Summer laughed

"Okay cool." I said

"And by the way, we'll  didn't know what you liked for your guy's room so we'll you decorate it and shop for clothes." Molly said

"And as well we got you credit cards, don't go over the limit. Or I will take them away." I said

"You are so not using those phones, seriously? What was the foster mother thinking?" Molly asked

"I know! Exactly what I said." I laughed

Clarissa's POV

"So here are your phones! Brand new, has our phone numbers. Unlimited texting and calling." Mi madre said

"But we decided curfew your father and I is at 10:30 on school nights, you will tell us when you are going out. And before anything homework comes first! If grades slip, so does the phone and the credit card." Mom said

"That's stupid!" Ember complained

"I know right, I tried to convince her but I couldn't. You want to go shopping just the two of us?" Molly asked

"Sure." Ember smiled and they walked out with the keys and went I have no idea where

"So, do you want to do anything?" Mom asked me

"I want to know about your parents." I was a little curious

"Let's have a little talk over by the TV." She said gesturing to the huge living room.

"Isabella, Lucky! I want you to meet someone." Mom hollered and two little pugs came scampering in

"Aww! They are so cute!" They came up and sniffed me

"Now sit and we have to talk." She sounded serious

So we sat on the couch and the pugs who are really cute joined us. I always wanted a pug, but our foster mothers or fathers would never allow us to have dogs.

"So what is it?" I asked

"My parents died. Just recently, before we got you." Mom said

"Oh. Can I see a picture of them?" I asked really wanting to see them

She walked over to TV where a frame held a picture. And she brought it over here.

Summer's POV

"There's my mom and there's my dad. And that's me when I was younger." I said

"And I was adopted just like you. See my mom couldn't have children so she got me. We got you guys because something happened and it caused be not to be able to have children. But your father and I will always love you guys." I said hugging her

"Life really sucks doesn't it?" Clarissa laughed

"It does. You want to go shopping today?" I asked

"Sure." Clarissa smiled

"I just learned how to drive, so spare my feelings." I laughed as we got into my car

"Okay. I can do that. I don't know about Ember though." Clarissa looked down at her feet
