Summer POV

--Flashback--

I remember when he caught me in his arms. The first time we kissed. It wasn't Sam, it was Devin. We told each other how we really felt.

He was the one that made the first move, to do what I wanted with Sam. But I couldn't we were only together for a couple of hours. He understand, just like I understand what Sam meant about hurting me.

We have happy days, and yes I love being with him doesn't feel right anymore. We were happy at first but that's when this happened.

--Flashback Ended--

A couple weeks later...

I went to the bathroom in my room, one day after everything was situated with my parents. We were finally happy, everything was settled the house was mine and everything my mom owned was mine as well. And she put in her will "if I die young, give all of my savings to my wonderful daughter Summer Anne. It's in my bedroom, in a envelope under my jewelry box. And I give my necklace that I wore everyday to her." My dad put in his will "if I die young, give all of my savings to my wonderful daughter Summer Anne, in my two bank accounts, and the house as well. I hope you do well Summer and I will miss you. You can have anything you want of ours from our bedroom."

It was hard to hear those words, but I did. I survived. The house was in my name, so were the doggies Isabella and Lucky. They wondered and sniffed where Grandma and Grandpa were, but they didn't know until I showed them Grandma and Grandpa's grave. Every night they sleep with me, so I feel protected. They still whimper, not seeing their Grandma and Grandpa every night. I have nightmares sometimes. But not as frequent as I do.

Molly finally came out that she was bisexual. And I have to admit I'm proud,  my mom and dad would be too.  Her parents didn't like it at first, but they had to get used to the fact, that's what made one of their daughter's happy. Marissa is still with the popular group and with her boyfriend. We're not friends, Molly and I will truly always be best friends forever.

Lexi and her are dating publicly. Lexi actually goes to our school now! Her parents and her siblings moved here from Chile, so she speaks Spanish and did you know I do too?

Oh yeah, back to Devin and I.. so where was I? I went to the bathroom and when I came out he was holding Sam's sweatshirt.

"What the hell 5   is this?" He didn't look very happy

"It's Sam's sweatshirt. So why are you holding it?" I asked

"Why? Because I found it under your pillow when I was looking for something! What the hell was it doing there?" Devin asked more like looking like he yelled

"Give it to me. And its mine, Sam gave it me. It was the only happy time I had with him in L.A." I said as I grabbed it from him

"So? He's your ex! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY OF HIS STUFF!" He damn near yelled

"YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!! I CAN WEAR WHAT I WANT! That is my sweatshirt not yours he gave it to ME, and I can wear what I want! And keep what I god damn what!" I yelled
