(time skip both are in kindergarten and at the same school)
zack was in kindergarten which you wouldn't think was weird but kayla did too. zack stayed back 4 years because of his temper and loss. his mother was killed and his father despised of him and ran away so he had no one. but that was 9 years ago so ever since than he didn't translate words properly he was supposed to be in year 3. kayla was nateral age but she also had her family by her side.

z= huh o-oh hello
o= why are you hanging out with the kindergarten oh wait YOUR ONE OF THEM HAHA
z= w-well u-uh
o= why don't you go cry to your mommy or your daddy oh wait you can't HAHA
z= g-guys p-p-please s-stop
o= NO THIS IS WHAT A CREEP LIKE YOU DISREVES
Z= JUST STOP
o= fine its no fun teasing you anyway. (they walked away)
k= zack are you ok
z= just leave me alone i'm just a little creep
k= b-but zack you're n-
z= I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE
zack turned himself invisible and flew to the roof and cried wile watching kayla walk away sadly but not crying. zack knew kayla understood but he didn't think it was enough. everyone wanted to be friends with her and she accepted it but she only tried to be friends with zack. zack had no one.
