When you reach the office door and place your hand on the knob, you glance back at Sean again and lower your voice into a whisper. "Whatever you do, please don't geek out and ask too many questions."

His brows furrowed and he was about to ask what you meant, but you turned the knob and pushed open the door. His eyes instantly lands on Google, who remains sitting in his chair. While Sean stands next to you with eyes wide and his mouth slightly open, you introduce the two.

"Sean, this is Google. Google, this is Sean."

Google rises from his chair and walks over to you both. He extends a hand to Sean. Sean slowly raises his arm and places his hand in Google's, shaking his hand.

"It is nice to meet you, Sean. ____ says that you are her best friend. She has also informed me that you two are like brother and sister, and that there are no sexual relations.

You physically facepalm and hang your head low, trying to hide the redness on your cheeks. Sean looks back and forth between you and Google before busting out into laughter. Removing your hand from your face and picking your head up, you let out a groan. "Thank you for clarifying, Google, and Sean – shut up."

Sean lets go of Google's hand and calms down. "That was priceless! Oh man.... how did you get him, though?"

"Last night on my way home from work, I passed by one of the alleyways and the box he came in was underneath a dumpster. I didn't know if it was real or not, but I took it home anyway. Now...here we are."

Sean nods at you before looking back at Google and stepping closer to him. "This is so fascinating! He looks just like a human. His skin feels real, too."

As Sean examines him, Google glances over at me. He looks slightly confused. You nod your head and smile at him, letting him know that it is okay. He nods back and returns his gaze to Sean, who is still observing him.

"What are your primary functions, Google?" Sean asks, scratching at the stubble on his chin again.

"My primary function is to answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible. Secondary function is to assist my administrator, ____."

Your best friend glances over at you and raises a brow. There is a mental image in your mind from earlier when Google 'assisted' you. Sean looks back at Google. "Can you eat?"

"Google IRL's are not required to eat, but I recently was programmed to thanks to ____."

"Do you feel different temperatures?"

"Yes," Google replies. "We were programmed to react to different temperatures. If it is cold, our skin can form goose bumps. If it is hot, we will sweat. Google IRL's can also tell the exact temperature of any given place at any given time."

"Fascinating!" Sean flashes his toothy grin at Google before looking at you. You simply point over to the clock on the wall that shows it is 5:59. The grin fades out into a disappointed from and he looks back at Google. "Well, I have to get going, but I'll be back. See ya soon, Google!"

Sean leaves the room and you walk over to Google. You set the backpack full of clothes down on the desk and turn back to the brown-eyed man. "It's time for me to go work. I'll come back to check on you every once in a while. Remember-"

Google sits down in the chair. "Sit here and be quiet."

"Right. See you in a few, Google."

Around nine o'clock, things started to die down again. There were only three hours left before you and Sean clocked out. After five minutes of no one coming in, Sean glanced over at you from behind one of the aisles he had just finished stocking up. The first thing you see is the top of his head. His short brown hair sticks out from underneath his flat grey cap. The second thing you see are his wide blue eyes locked on you. When he knows he has your attention, his eyes dart over to the back of the store and then back at you. He wiggles his eyebrows and you giggle.
