Homecoming: The insane story
" I don't want to sleep, I don't want to sleep... DON'T MAKE ME GO TO SLEEP!". The men in white held me down as the doctor pulled a syringe from his pocket. I struggled but it was no use. I felt my sleeve go up and I turned my head to see the doctor posing with the needle. He slowly stuck it in my arm and injected me with thorazine. I felt tired but I still fought to keep my eyes open. My eyes closed slowly and I used the rest of my strength to yell "DON'T GO TO SLEEP!". My eyes closed so I saw darkness. I opened them and saw... my nightmare. I turned around to see the little girl Alma and she walked over and held my hand like every other night. I walked with her down the dark path into nothingness. I heard an inhuman screech and started looking around seeing nothing. She squeezed tighter "Joel don't let them take me please!" I felt her slip away and I jumped for her, but missed. The floor, it's vibrating. My only instinct was to run, so I did. I turned my head and saw a large red and black figure chasing me. I examined it more and saw its large fangs, talons, and then its eyes burned in to me, I fell. I held my chest feeling pain as it got to me and dropped to its knees. It smiled and I felt dead inside "Go To Sleep...Joel". My eyes opened and I screamed at the top of my lungs "NOOO!". I calm down after a few minutes and looked around at the cement walls. A loud bell rang for breakfast and I got up to go. The door creaked open and I walk through it hungry. I looked at the lady as she looked up "pancake or french toast". i smiled "French toast". she slapped a few pieces on my plate and i walked away to get my pills. I grabbed the cup and put the pils under my tongue not taking them. i looked at my neighbor in my seat "I'm not crazy frank... I am not crazy". he looked up at me and started to laugh "everyones a loon joel everyones a loon... EVERYONE!". He started to fall over laughing and I looked up to see a demon standing over him. The demon looked at me as if I was his next target. He lifted an arm and pointed at me and his finger started steaming. The burning sensation was back as I held my chest and screamed "No go away....leave me alone....GO AWAY!". I stood up and ran to a corner and crouched into it screaming. I punched a guard in the face and heard a snap "are you possessed as well?". i punched him again and was tackled by another guard. I felt the needle in my neck and passed out. I woke up in a basement with a single light on. I tried to get up but couldn't. I looked down at ropes tied around me and to the chair. I looked up to see a woman in the chair across from me. She was in a nurse outfit and looked up at me "why am i here?". i shook my head "i don't know". i started to struggle when I saw a man come out in a red hooded sweater and black pants on. i stopped and watched. he removed the hood showing pale skin and his eyes had no eye lids. I looked at his mouth and saw a smile was cut into his face. he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the nurse and cut her slowly. I watched and the ropes gave and I tackled him. He disappeared in my arms. I looked up and saw a man with no face. He swung a chair and it hit me. My eyes opened in the padded room "where am I?". I looked around and saw no one. I looked down and saw a straight jacket wrapped around me and i struggled. I need to get out of this jacket now. I started rolling around tugging at the sleeves. I started to get tired and stopped laying there starring at padded ceiling. I started to feel tired and my eyes started to close. I opened them wide "no don't go to sleep... don't go to sleep". I sat up and looked around and got a flash of a dark metal room. I backed up to the wall and looked around scared. I crawled over to the door and banged on it using my foot "Let me out i'm not crazy please let me out". a tear ran down my cheek and a slot opened "have you learned your lesson Joel". i nodded and the door opened. The guard unlatched the jacket and I cracked my arms and elbows "thank you so much". He shook his head "now go to your room". I nodded at him and ran. I ran down the dimly lit corridor and opened my room door and saw the nurse from the nightmare. She was making the bed and turned to look at me "Hello, My name is Nurse Rose and i'm new here". I looked at her and put my hand out "I'm Joel i'm not crazy but they think i am". she nodded and shook my hand "I saw you earlier punch the security guard, may i ask why?". I looked down and back up at her "I thought he was possessed as well as frank and others like the warden here". She looked at me confused "What do you mean possessed Mister Joel". "I-i'm being followed by demons". She looked down and finished the bed an walked out. she turned around at the door "I believe you". I watched her walk out and smiled at the door. "thank you". I sat on the bed and starred at a dark corner. A bright light started to appear and alma showed up in the corner in a red night gown dress and a teddy bear thats all. i looked down and saw her feet covered in blood and splatter on her legs "Alma are you okay?". she looked up at me and her eyes were black. She stared at me and stood up with her hair covering her face. It looked to be black with certain parts covering her face. She took a step and I backed up slowly "Alma remember me i'm the one that protects you". She kept walking and teleported to me and I fell back. She crouched down to me and stared with those dark black eyes. I sat there in silence starring. She disappeared slowly and reappeared inside the dark corner again. I looked at her and sat in my bed facing the other way. She started humming and singing twinkle twinkle little star. It was the song but had the demonic twist to it.
