You were a demon
With sadistic nature and merlot eyes
Who hid behind my brittle ribcage
And pierced my heart into shades of vermillion
You kissed memories into my back
Poured nectar like venom into my bloodstream
While your shimmering fingers dripped in gold stained my skin
Your lips carved scarlet wax into my mouth
Before melting away to a surreal oblivionYou were a god
Blood never ran through your veins
Ichor in hues of molten and polar drenched your skin
Your cold eyes had a fire beneath them
Which threatened to burn everything back to existence
Your silence was a testimony of a gruesome violence
Your ivory skin was shielded with ochre armors
And your hands were ornamented with silver swords
Which would soon be scarlet from our infatuationAfter battles and wars in this golden city that are burned into my brain
I still can't decipher
If you were my savior
Or a cosmic ammunition that was out to ruin
