Things are a little quiet today, i'm not sure if thats good or bad but i'm going to take advantage of it.
This place can be really pretty sometimes. Trees everywhere, the sky is so royally blue, the beautiful exotic colorful flowers. Its strange how a terrifying deadly place can be so beautiful.
"..Just tell namtar what i said!" yelled Mark.
I hide behind a couple trees, cautiously. Was he really just yelling at a tree? I must be hallucinating, trees don't talk, there's no way... I peaked around the tree again and listened as the tree spoke back to mark. "Namtar doesnt take orders from little miscreant pests like you."
Okay so trees do talk, and im not crazy.
Mark turned away and started walking towards me, i stopped him in his steps.
"What were you doing just now?" i asked
he responded rudely, "none of your business amber."
"I saw you talking to that tree, yes i know that sounds crazy but if you don't tell me what the hell just happened i will tell michelle!"
He looked at me like i was stupid, "What are you talking about? i was just getting coconuts from the tree, now get away." he said as he shoved me out of the way.
I walked back over to the tree, "hey can i get a coconut Mr. Tree?" I waited for a response but nothing came.
I was standing there for a couple more minutes trying to talk to the tree, when i heard footsteps nearby, Its namtar.
I ran through some trees to hide from him but he found me.
He looked at me as if he had just discovered a brand new star. We just stared at each other in silence, and he walked away.
I have never been so scared, his stare pierced my soul, his breath sent a million chills up my spine, the way his evil grin slowly crept on his face made me wish he had just killed me and got it over with.
