Shut Up And Dance

part 9

-Shaynes POV-

I'm glad Courtneys closing her eyes right now. Otherwise she would have Sean my blushing.

I don't know why I was blushing so hard. I think it was because of the comfort I had being with her. It was almost overwhelming for some reason.

I look down at her and I see her resting on my shoulder. Her eyes were closed so I guess she was sleeping.

We weren't even half hay to her place and since she wasn't paying attention to where I was going, I thought that it would be fun to surprise Courtney.

There was a theme park going on right now about thirty minutes away from where we were and I wanted Courtney to have something to keep her mind off of Wahlid.

I hope there's nothing waiting for her at her place.

With that idea in mind, I made a different turn and headed to the theme park.

About 20 minutes past and we were almost there.

I notice Courtney moving from my shoulder. She sits up straight and scratches her eyes.

Courtney: Where the hell are we Shayne?

She sounded confused but happy.

Me: Hope you didn't have anything planned for today because we're going to a theme park.

Courtney: Are you serious? No I don't anything planned.

Me: So that means you're down?

Courtney: He'll yeah. How far are We?

Me: Ten more minutes until we get there.

Courtney: Okay... So why are we doing this.

Me: It sounds fun. And besides, I know that you think that I've done enough for you but I thought that this would help you keep your mind off of that bi- Wahlid.

Courtney: Thank you Shayne. You have no idea how much this means to me.

Me: No problem. But can I ask you something?

Courtney looked at me and I looked back at her.

Courtney: Yeah.

I looked back at the road.

Me: Have you told anyone about you and Wahlid breaking up and- you know. Him cheating on you. I know Wes knows you guys broke up and I told Damian everything after he walked in on me and you earlier today.

Courtney: Well, I told Olivia today. But it's not like I want to keep any of this a secret. Honestly, I should probably tell the rest of smosh soon.

Me: Okay.

Once we got there, we our tickets and entered the park.

We look around a while. There're a lot of rides to choose from and they all look so fun.

Me: What one do you want to go on first?

Courtney: God! There's too many to choose from.

Me: Okay then. I'll choose.

I smiled and pointed over to a food booth right next to us.

Courtney: What? Are you planning on us throwing up all over each other?!?

Me: Maybe...

Courtney: Okay. I guess that sounds a little entertaining and plus, I'm fucking hungry.

We walked to the booth to get our food. I got a corn dog and Courtney got a big pretzel with a drink.

We decided to sit at a table while we eat out food.

Me: I hope you barf.

Courtney: Well, if I do it's going on you so get ready.

After she said that she brought her face closer to mine and burped.

I smiled and leaned my back away from her.

Me: You have to stop doing that.

Courtney: You and I both know that I am incapable of doing that.

Me: Sadly, you've got a point.

Courtney: Hahahaha.

We finished our food and threw our trash in the garbage.

We went back to wondering around the place when all of the sudden, Courtney pointed at a ride. It was a roller coaster. A big roller coaster.

Courtney: Let's do that one.

It looked like there was a drop 100 feet tall. I honestly didn't want to go on it but my gut told me to be strong and act like the ride didn't intimidate the hell out of me.

Me: Oh my god! Okay.

I hesitated.

Courtney: What? Are you chicken?

She lightly punched me on the arm.

Me: Psh! N-No.

I lied but I she could probably tell it was.

Courtney: Okay then. Let's go.

She grabbed my hand and dragged me over to the ride.

-Time skip-

We surprisingly didn't throw up on each other during the rides. I was almost positive I was going to but I held it in.

After we did a few rides, we went to a few booths.

The first one was one where you had to squirt the water into the clowns mouth. I won that one and got a stuffed penguin. (Hint: Panguins are Courtneys spirit animal) The second one was where you had to shoot A few targets with a paint gun. Courtney got a stuffed whale. (Hint: Shaynes Sperit animal is a blue whale)

When we were done with the booths, the sun began to set. The sky was becoming orange.

Me: Lets go on the Ferris wheel. We can get a better view from a higher point.

Courtney: Okay.

This time I grabbed her and and dragged her to the ride.

There wasn't that many people on the Ferris and no one was in line so we got on right when we got there.

-Courtneys POV-

We get ourselves in and we start moving. We were really lucky that we were like, the only ones on this thing and no one else was waiting in line so now, we won't be stopped for anyone to get on or off.

I looked over at Shayne and smiled. I saw the light of the sun set on his face. He looked so gorgeous in the light.

He looked back smiled. My heart melted.

We both looked back at the view from the top of the Ferris wheel.

We were right next to the ocean which made the view pretty by itself but having the sunset to go along with it, made it ten times better.

I could hear the birds and I could hear the music playing from down below.

"Tightrope" by WALK THE MOON.

I felt so happy at that moment.

For some reason, not a single word was shared between the two of us. It was silent. The good kind of silent.

It's like my feelings for him are escalating by the second.

I looked down at mine and Shayne's hands. They were so close.

I had to do something with these feelings. Even if I know it could get me fired.

I touched Shayne's hand. I wrapped my fingers around his and he did the same.

We looked at each other for the second time.

We both, slowly grew a smile on our faces.

We got closer and closer together to point where our noses were touching and before I knew It, our lips were touching.
