Today is finally Saturday!

Joe's just glad he doesn't have to do anything. He doesn't have to worry about early shifts, Brendon, or spilling scolding hot coffee on himself. You'd think by now he'd learn how to make sure it doesn't happen, but oh well.

Joe is so glad that he's finally off work, he just wants to relax, watch some TV and eat some snacks. He was very much looking forward to that idea...until he realized that he doesn't have any snacks in his house.

He groans in annoyance, getting off of his couch that he half just gotten comfortable on.

Looks like he has to go shopping.

Great...

---------------

He walks into the near by Walmart and goes to the junk food isle right away.

Joe swears he eats healthy. He gets potato chips, potatos are good for you right? there for, he eats heathy. He also eats a lot of things with ketchup, and tomatoes are also good for you. See, healthy!

He picks up the chips he wants and turns around to leave, only to bump into someone's chest instead.

"Sorry dude" Joe says casually, though he stills when he looks up to see Steve, his ex boyfriend.

Really? His ex that he hasn't seen in months? What's next, he bumps into his French teacher from high school? Man, she hated Joe. He doesn't even remember the reason why... He doesn't think there was a reason to be honest.

Joe really doesn't want to deal with him right now. Every time there's a break up there's a clear winner and clear loser, and he usually ends up being the loser for some unlucky reason.

He gives him a fake smile "David, how are you?" He asks, not really caring for the answer.

"I have a date tonight with my boyfriend. What about you, Joe?" He asks, clearly rubbing his new relationship in Joe's face.

Joe tries to think of something to make himself sound good, but before he can say anything he feels someones arm wrap around his waist.

Confused, he looks over to see who is holding him, only to see coffee shop boy standing beside him.

Joe's surprised at his height, he's much shorter than he thought he would be. But to be fair, he's only ever seen him sitting down or from far away.

He reaches a hand out to David "I'm Andy, I'm Joe's boyfriend"

Well now Joe finally knows his name...after a month of creepily staring at him.

He gives Andy a confused look and Andy gives him a look back that says "just go with it".

"Oh..well nice to meet you" David shakes Andy's hand.

"Well, I'm sure Joe would like to catch up, but our dogs are waiting at home for us. They don't do well on their own" Andy says, the lies just naturally coming out of his mouth.

"You live together...and have dogs?" David asks, Joe can tell he's starting to feel like the loser, and honestly it feels pretty great. Joe's never been the winner after a break up.

Feels pretty good, he must say.

"Yup, two actually." Andy nods.

"Oh.." David replies, defeat clear in his voice.

"Nice talking to you" The shorter man says before grabbing Joe's hand and walking away.

"Bye" He hears David call behind them.

Once they're out of sight he looks at Andy very with raised eyebrows. "What was that?" He exclaims.

"I was in the isle over, and I may or may not have been eavesdropping. I could tell you were struggling so I came and helped" Andy tells him, coyly.

"Well, thank you... Andy, it was very nice" Joe responds, testing out his name that he only just found out. He smiles at him which he returns.

He looks down and notices they're still holding hands. Blushing, he lets go.

"I've gotta go pay for these" Joe tells the other man, showing him his basket full of food...well, junk food that is.

"I'll come with you...you know, just in case David sees you alone and gets suspicious" Andy smiles a little.

"Oh yes of course" Joe retorts knowingly.

He starts walking to the check out with Andy by his side, when he grabs his hand again.

"Just in case David sees" The other man blushes a little bit, and what and adorable sight that is.

Joe nods, probably also blushing.

------------

Once he payed for his food, Andy insisted that he walk Joe to his car as well.

Once they got there Joe put the food in the passenger seat and sat in the driver side looking at him and willing himself to ask him a question. I mean, if he can hold his hand twice, I think Joe can grow a pair and ask him a simple question.

"Before I go, I need to ask... How come you're in the coffee shop at the same time every day?"

"I usually workout from eight until ten, then I get hungry and go to coffee's for closers because they have awesome vegan sandwich's, so I go eat one of those and pretend to not notice the cute barista staring at me" he smiles innocently at me.

"Ah, seems like a creep" Joe jokes, pretending to not know he's talking about him.

"His name starts with a J, I think it was Jacob or Jonas...I can't remember" he shrugs "but I do remember that he's very handsome" and with that he puts sunglasses on and walks away, leaving Joe dumbfounded.

He just called him handsome.

He tries his best to contain it, but a smile slowly grows on his face as he thinks about what Andy said, and that smile lasted all the way home to his little apartment.

Time to watch re-watch Supernatural and stuff my face with food.
