She shivered looking at his eyes
They heard the baby Crying , sanyukta hugged her daughter and was trying to calm her .
Randhir observed that her left cheek became red ,then he realized that he slapped her really hard .
He hugged her tightly
"I am sorry " he said with moist eyes
She didn't replied anything
He broke the hug and began kissing on her Cheek .
"U slapped me really hard " she said in a low voice
"I am really sorry " he said cupping her face
"But listen ! Next time if u talk about killing yourself ,I will kill you ,got it ?" he said
She looked at him and nodded
After few hours ,he observed that sanyukta was sitting near the window lost somewhere in her thoughts .
"Why don't you go to your office? You might feel better" he said
She nodded and got ready for her work

Randhir was standing in front of Poonam's house ,it was decorated with typical yellow and orange marie gold flowers .
He took a deep breath and entered inside ,their house was filled with guests ,as soon as Poonam's mom saw him ,she welcomed him and started introducing him to their relatives.
"Um I need to talk to Poonam once " he said
"Yes sure " her mother said and directed him towards her room
Everyone were giving him teasing looks and everyone were looking happy seeing him .
He felt sad ,as he came to actually break the engagement .
He entered inside her room and saw her gossiping with two ladies of her age ,her hands were decorated with grand mehandi designs and Samarth was busy playing a game oh his mother's phone .
"Hi Poonam " he said
As soon as she saw him ,she got up
"Oh hi , Randhir ! You came to meet me !"she asked looking at him " I am so happy ,this is a good development " she said , smiling widely.
"Poonam " he said and took a deep breath ,"I came here ,to tell you that ,I can't marry you,I am sorry" he said
She looked at him in shock "u are joking right?" She asked
"No " he said " I am sorry" he said and the people in that room were looking at each other in shock.
"It's because of Sanyukta right ?" She asked
"She is one of the reasons ,but Poonam this marriage was fixed by my parents against my wish, but it is actually wrong blaming everything on them ,it was my fault too ,I should have took this step before only ,I am sorry " he said
"Ok fine ,you can leave now " she said
He went near Samarth and hugged him "I am sorry" he said
"It's ok ,I didn't actually wanted a new dad " Samarth confessed
Later Randhir apologized everyone and left to his house
By the time he reached ,His parents already got to know that he went to Poonam's house.
"Fine ! Do whatever you want to " His mother said in anger and left .
He went to his room and breathed in relief ,he was feeling lighter after getting rid from this engagement .
He took out his mobile and ordered some ointments for Sanyukta for her cuts and her bruised cheek .
In the evening , Sanyukta returned home and there was silence in the house ,she could hear Randhir's mother chopping vegetables in the kitchen and Randhir's father was busy calculating something on his calculator.
While she thought ,the house would be filled with guests as Randhir's engagement is in 2 days .
She sprinted the steps and reached the terrace and stepped in Randhir's room
He was listening to songs from his mobile and Sanra was sleeping beside him .
"Randhir ,did something happened? Why are everyone so quiet " she asked taking out her bag and keeping it on the table.
"I actually broke the engagement with Poonam and they are quite upset with it." He said
"What !?" She said " Really ?" She asked and jumped on the bed
"Yes ,it's true " he said
"OMG !!" She said chuckling
"Hey ! I broke my engagement and you are laughing" he said smiling.
"I can't believe it ,that means she won't come here anymore ,thank God " she said with a wide smile .
"Sanyukta go and get freshen up " he said
She left and took a bath and changed into her night dress
"Come here " he said forwarding his hands for a hug and she hugged him tightly
"Finally now everything is sorted ,I am happy ,I will try my level best to regain your trust "she said
"Listen ,I trust you more than anything" he said
"Then marry me " she said
"We will discuss about this later " he said
"Ok fine " she said and kissed him on his cheek "but don't ask me to leave, please" she said
He nodded
She rested down on the bed beside him
"We should buy a bigger bed soon " she said
He took the ointment and applied on her cheek
"Now it will get better quickly" he chipped
She snuggled closer to him and hugged him by his waist .
"I love you" she said
But he didn't replied anything .
