After about five and a half hours of being stuck in the car, Sam and Dean just wanted some fresh air. Dean parked the car in front of a small restaurant called The Mystic Grill and got out.

"I'm starving." Dean said looking at the building. "Do you want something to eat, Sammy?" Dean looked at Sam.

"Yeah, I could eat." Sam said as they walked toward the entrance. A tall muscular man with blonde hair stood at the host stand. He saw them walking towards him and he prepared two menus in his hands.

"Hi, Welcome to the Mystic Grill, table for two?" The man said. Sam nodded and the man took them to a small table near the bar, where a young man was sitting. The young man had dark, almost black hair and a black tee shirt on. "Here you go, enjoy your meal." The blonde man handed them their menus and walked back to the front of the restaurant. Sam made sure that no one else was coming to their table, then pulled out a map. The map had exes on it, in five different spots.

"This is a map of Mystic Falls. Each 'X' represents one spot where a victim was found. They were all seen entering the forest together that night and then they were gone and ended up in different places." Sam said, pointing to the exes.

"They were scattered?" Dean asked. "Its like they wanted to make the police think that they were different events. Did you get any information on the vics?"

"Yeah, Their names were Isabella Muller, Julia Fell, James Fell, Shawn Meyers, and Lindsey Emerson. They were all students at Mystic Falls High School and were seen in the halls together a lot, like a close friend group." Sam said reading the side of the map where he had written the names and their relation to each other. He pointed to the two Fell kids names. "They were brother and sister. This Emerson girl was James's girlfriend and Shawn Meyers and Isabella Muller were also dating."

"Where'd you get all this from?" Dean asked.

"Instagram. Every kid at Mystic Falls High School posed some sort of memorial post. I pieced it all together from that." Dean nodded but still looked confused as to what Instagram was.

"So they were probably screwing around in the forest when they were attacked. Then the vampire scattered the bodies to try to confuse the police, it's that simple." Dean said as he reasoned out the events of that night. After Dean said that, the man with dark hair at the bar raised his head up, as if to listen more closely. Sam and Dean didn't notice. "Get your machete ready, Sammy. We're going to chop this son-of-a-bitch's head off real soon." Dean said smiling. Shortly after, a waitress came to their table and took their order. Dean ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries and a Coke. Sam ordered a chicken sandwich with salad on the side and a water. When their food arrived, Dean looked at his burger with wide eyes, picked it up, and took a huge bite.

"Why do you always have to eat like you are immune to health problems?" Sam said, amazed at his brother's lack of care for his well being.

"Sammy, there are things out there much more dangerous than a bacon cheeseburger." Dean said, with a full mouth. Sam smiled and turned away from the sight of his brother chewing the cheeseburger and fries with his mouth open. The two brothers finished their meals then went to the bar. They asked the bartender to point them towards the nearest motel. The black haired man at the bar listened closely.

"There is a motel not too far from here. It's called the Mystic Motel. Go three blocks down, take a right and then go down about six or seven blocks." The bartender said. "Is there anything else that I can help you boys with?" She said smiling at Dean. Sam, noticing this decided to break up the sexual tension.

"Yeah actually, Do you know the Gilberts by any chance. Elena and her brother Jeremy?" Sam said. The bartender turned away from Dean and looked at Sam.

"Hmm," She said, thinking. "Do they come here a lot? What do they look like?"

"Actually we haven't seen them in years but we're old family friends." Dean said, drawing the Bartenders attention back to him.

"I know them." Said the man with black hair. "They are good friends of mine. I'm Damon, Damon Salvatore." He said shaking hands with Sam and Dean.

"I'm Sam and this is my brother Dean. Do you know where we could find them? We just heard about Grayson and Miranda and wanted to check in on them, see how they're doing."

"Sure, yeah, their house is a few blocks away. You just go two streets down, take a left and they're the white house with the porch swing. How did you say you know them again?" Damon said.

"Our dad was friends with Grayson. They were old hunting buddies." Dean said, smiling. "Ok, we're going to take off. It was nice meeting you, Damon, you too Alicia." He said to the bartender, winking. She giggled. Sam rolled his eyes and they walked out of the restaurant. The boys got into their car and drove to the motel, following the directions that the bartender gave them. They went up to the front desk got a room and went to put their stuff in there.

"Lets do some more research on Mystic Falls. Maybe there were multiple events that have to do with vampires." Sam said getting his laptop out of his bag.

"Great, you know how much I love doing research." Dean said sarcastically.

"Its part of the job, Dean." Sam opened his laptop and searched data bases for strange deaths and disappearances in Mystic Falls. Through out the years, there were tons of incidents like this having to do with "animal attacks". Sam sat there reading through all of them.
