I was feeling excited and anxious at the same time. What if I won't be accepted again? I've been trying for so many times to be a secretary but often I wasn't accepted or chosen- all with the same lame reason.

Lack of experience.

Hey. It wasn't my fault they won't even give me a chance to work and have an experience. I just came back from my hometown from New York State. I miss Seoul. The people, the weather, and him. I miss him the most ofcourse. It has been seven long years.

I miss him so much. After that frightening nightmare. My parents decided we should leave the country to ensure my safety. I never wanted to leave especially him. He knows that. I told him everything on that night. That night I was so stupid to break up with him. I know that our relationship won't work out well that way.

Back in Manhattan, the people are very nice but it's still different here in Seoul. I miss talking to people in my own dialect. Not much people can understand my language there.

I was sitting beside those anxious co-interviewee. They were talking about how gorgeously hot the CEO of Pyunsoo Empire group is. It was stirring my curiosity. How hot could the chief executive officer of this empire be? I continued listening to their conversation.

" But I heard he is cold, ruthless and domineering that's why Pyunsoo Empire stays on top charts about shipping glass and is currently merged with Blue Dragon Empire- in metal and oil production." They were chatting loudly. I guess it's not obvious I am eavesdropping since i could clearly hear their exchange of words from where i am seated.

" Isn't it that the president of Blue Dragon Empire is gorgeous as well? Mr Lee Jong Suk right?" Others were nodding in agreement. Even I myself nodded as well without realizing.

" But isn't it that he's getting married with an employee? They both fell in love at work so sweet!" I stopped listening already.

" If I will be chosen. I'll do my best to make the CEO fall in love with me." I rolled my eyes at that comment. You wish, that's IF you get chosen.

" That would be difficult. I heard the reason why his secretary resigned is because of his attitude. Many employee from Pyunsoo Empire said that he's scary." My knees trembled even though I don't want to hear anymore. I could still hear their loud chatters.

" Miss Minah, you're up next." A girl in her red and white formal blouse and pencil skirt smiled kindly at me and walk me through the room. I read her nametag Wendy Zhang.

" Goodluck!" She cheers me up. I could only give her a nervous glance. She left me there, her heels clicking on the floor. My heart was thumping faster like riding a roller coaster and I'm on the top most part about to go down in a fast pace.

I heave a deep breath before opening the door.

A man in black tuxedo and gray shirt beneath whistled. He looks handsome, my gaze roam and met the Chief Executive Officer's Table. I frowned when I saw him dozing on his table,

How unprofessional.

There was a framed picture of a kid hung on the wall. Smiling, his chubby cheeks rosy and eyes sparkling in the photo.

The kid is oddly familiar.

I cleared my throat in attempt to catch his attention but when he did not move an inch I was convinced he's not interested to listen.
