Chapter 1: The Squad

Vienna's POV 

I'm in my room casually sitting on my favorite swivel chair while my eyes are glued at the screen of my computer. My forehead wrinkled when no idea flooded in my brain, like 'yow brain! get your act together will ya?' . I bit the middle of my pen impatiently as I let myself to be lost in thought on what will I type on this damn keyboard. Gosh I'm going nuts.

Time goes by until ultraviolet waves splashed in my eyes causing my head to ache a little, signalling me to stop but nah, I need to finish my project before the deadline which is tomorrow morning by the way. I know, I should've done it by the time it was given but I'm so lazy to move so bear with me.

The door opened swiftly and to my surprise my pen fell on the floor waving its farewell and leaving my mouth open, then  a loud thud is created because of a chair blocking its way. Well, oopps.

Noise, noise, noise, fucking damn noise.

Suddenly, different sounds from different mouths filled my oh-so-peaceful room the moment some ugly-faced aliens called friends entered my space. I sighed and tried not to roll my eyes.

"Hey Vivi!" a minion with a high pitch voice who likes shouting, err, disturbed me while tapping my right shoulder. There she goes again. Allie.

I didn't bother to turn or look back.

"HEY VIVI!!" she said this time, loudly than before. Gosh bruh! My ears!

I turned my head and met her face using my glaring eyes.

There she is, standing proudly while smirking and on her side is the presence of Nielle smiling boyishly at me but what caught my attention is the other idiots playing and jumping like kids on my bed, seriously? arghhh.

"Air! Give my money back you fat boy!" Snow complained angrily while stomping her feet on the ground which made her look adorable but Air continued to tease her and started to run around not minding some things falling because of his naughtiness. Great, just great.

But they're not just the ones who are fighting, Allie who is bothering me a while ago is now making a commotion with Nielle. Just wow, real quick.

"Hey, that's my food fudgehole!" I heard Allie shouted at Nielle, uh people, don't forget her high pitch voice, it's tearing my ears. Oh God!

"I know bitch." said Nielle, adding oil to the flame,I remember how Allie hates swearing. I remembered one time when I cussed, she slapped my mouth and from then on, I didn't swear again.

But hell I'm serious, can't they keep their mouth shut?

I turned my swivel chair and faced my computer again to mind my own business and to lessen the noise, I plugged my earphones in my ears and listen to My Chemical Romance's Ghost Of You.

I looked at them again, they're not stopping huh? What do I expect?

My eyes narrowed to Tyler, he was sleeping soundly while his earphones are plugged in his ears. I also noticed his eyebags growing, Is he feeding them, just joking.

Then I continued my work silently and at the same time,  an idea crossed my mind I was like'Nice brain! you finally cooperate!'

"Vienna, wake up. You're going to be late again." A woman with an angel-like voice said softly, I felt her moved and opened the curtains and then the sunlight escaped from the window and stared directly into my eyes, disturbing my sleep.

"Mom..." I muttered. I get up lazily and stretched my arms while yawning at the same time, I adjusted my blurry sight and saw my friends lying everywhere then I remembered that they slept here.

I stood from my comfortable bed and picked up the trash from the floor. These guys were so messy, like hey! I looked like a babysitter of these five idiots who came from eggs which are hatched from a mental hospital, seriously.

I went to them one by one and wake them up, I can here their snores, I also saw saliva dripping from their watery mouths. Yuck, gross.

"Nielle, wake up. You're really a sleepy head." Of all my friends, He is the hardest to wake up.

I felt a presence at my back and I saw them four smirking, probably thinking naughty thoughts.

"One, two, three........ NIELLE WAKE UP!!!!!" They shouted in chorus, they also make loud noises that would probably break your eardrums. Of course, before they do that I automatically covered my ears, I sensed that already, I also heard the door closed, mom went outside, I guess.

I am now here inside my classroom, drawing some unusual things. err. I looked at Allie who is busy answering the activity given by the teacher. I finished it quickly since I only guessed the answers or I left it blank, what a student am I. Allie... Consistent huh?! Hehe she's not what you think she is.

'So boring, think I'm gonna die"

I knocked my head on my armchair about five times because I was really bored, goodness! Drag me out of this hell please! I can even feel my seatmate looking at me strangely, tsk, well, who cares?

"Psst! Allie!"

She turned around and looked at me, her brown eyes met my gaze.

"What?" She asks in a confused tone with a hint of irritation. I don't really want to distract her but I need to. My stomach is growling and I can't take it. If I didn't feed this little fellow it will devour me later.

"Let's sneak out. I'm hungry." I answered, holding my stomach, slightly pouting my lips. Emergency, emergency, ehem ehem. I need to be cute or  should I say, act cute.

She frowned and mumbled some words but after a second, she agreed. TING! See ya? That's an advantage of being me! Oh God, thanks for giving me this charm.

We were walking in the corridor, we were chatting some weird things while walking, you know? alien stuff, until we saw familiar faces of men and a woman.

"Vienna! Allie!" Snow cheerfully greeted us and dragged her feet to our way  with a big smile plastered on her beautiful face. What a cutie right? That's our Snow.

The boys followed and joined us as we walked together to the canteen. Then our voices occupied the hallway as we walk through it. 

"I remember Darell, I wonder which school he is in now..." Air suddenly blurted in the middle of eating his cheeseburger. 

"Me too, I wish he was still okay." Nielle muttered, I nodded as a sign of agreement, I remembered how Air and I taught him about bad words and bruh...  I can't forget the crimes we did together as a squad, I wish life has a replay button, hayyss.

"I saw his profile last week, he was studying at-what is it again? Oh! San Gregory School!" Allie shouted, she really likes shouting huh?

"Bye Allie, Bye Vienna, Bye Tabashi, Bye Nielle!" Snow recited our names one by one then waved her hand to us and of course, still smiling as ever together with her twin brother, Tyler 

It's dismissal time, every students' favorite part.  We were still here in school, their mom picked them up too early.

"Be online in messenger later." Air said to us.

We nodded to him as response. Minutes later, they've gone already and I was left alone, staring blankly at the ground while kicking the rocks.

"Maybe I should go home alone....... again." I muttered to myself while kicking the rocks in front of me. I headed outside the gate of the school and went home.
