First: "I get it now."

Long long ago, there existed two genders. Male and Female.

However, due to the rapid decline of the human population developments had taken place. It became that the only difference between male and female were outward appearances.

All humans became capable of pregnancy. But divided into three types, Alpha, Beta  and Omega.

Alpha males have random heats. They have a high sperm count. They carry pheromones that differentiate them by class, and in society, they stand above the betas and omegas. And the amount of their ejaculation is highest among in the three classes (alpha, beta, omega). When they sense the omega's pheromones, they suddenly go into heat but mostly known as rut. Once they're in heat, all conscious thoughts will be abandoned and they may possibly become violent.  

Betas has no Estrus. They can partner to an omega, they can be turned on but they are the only one who can control and resist the emitting pheromones of an omega.

They make up majority of the population and basically used by alphas. But some of them, because of their hard work, had been able to marry alphas. And have reached the same ranks with alphas.

And last but not the least; omegas. First of all, they have estrus. Estrus is like 'sex pheromones'. Omega's hormones produce sex pheromones that are mixed in with their sweat and bodily fluids.

Alphas and betas do not produce these pheromones. That's why these pheromones are sometimes called as 'omega pheromones'. The first time that estrus— also known as heat— happens to a omega, is between ages 12-18, same goes for an alpha's heat.

A large amount of omegas hormones accumulate within the body for three weeks. During estrus, the large amount of omega hormones are converted into sex pheromones and released.

This release could continue for approximately seven days. And due to their lack of sperm productivity, they hold a lower position than the alpha and beta. During heat, they must stay at home or hide themselves for them not to get rape.

When having intercourse during heat, the alpha will bite the omega near the neck, and the two become 'mated'.

For an alpha, there are no changes. But to an omega, if they are mated during heat, they become unable to have sex with partners other than their mate. If they'll have sex with other than their partners, they'll feel dizziness, headache and worse, vomiting. 

"That's the mate system between alphas and omegas." 

"Oh.. I get it now." I replied while snuggling my face to his chest. 

We're currently on our favorite riverside. Leaning on a huge tree while he explains everything that had been bothering my curiosity for a very long time. 

"But why did you bit me? When you said that alphas like you just do it when having intercourse during heat of the omega?" I ask but he fell silent.

"I just want to mark you." He replied after a while. 

I don't know but I feel like the mood changes because of that long pause so I just dismissed the topic and just watch the flow of the water of the river in front of us. 

I'm not good at communicating to other people aside from my nanny and butler. Neither my family, but I sometimes question myself if why him? He's obviously an intruder in our property but here I am now, snuggling to him like there's no tomorrow while his arm is snaked around my body.

"Is there something you still want to ask?" 

Now that he's asking, I remembered that I still did not ask him for how he got into this place. When in fact it's a private property. Though I hesitated to ask another question, I still did.

"How did you got in here, hyung?" 

I heard him chuckle. His light aura is back unlike his aura seconds ago, "Actually I don't remember clearly at all."

"Eh?! Is that even possible?" I ask confused pulling myself out of his.

"Uh, yeah?" He slightly shook his head then pulled me again to hug me, "I don't know exactly how but I just found myself following the smell that lingered on my nose for a very long time that made me feel dizzy in a most addicting way." 

"What do you mean?" I said looking at him.

He look down on me while smiling then he tap my nose with his pointing finger. "Once you get in your heat you'll know what I mean." 

I frowned, "Why don't you tell me now?"

"I can't, baby." He let go of me then he stood up and reach out his hand to me.

I did not take it, and I'm still frowning. He explained everything I need to know just awhile ago but now he's confusing me again.

"Hyung..." I whined but he just shook his head while a smile is plastered on his face.

"Come, I'll walk you back to your house." 

I gave my hand unwillingly. It's still 3 in the afternoon, we usually separate by 5 PM. Now I'm not used to going home early anymore since the day that I met him.

We're silent the entire walk. But when we reached the place, far enough on our mansion that no one will see us, he let go of my hand. I don't know but I have this urge not to let it go but he pulled his hand while looking away from my eyes. It saddens me but what can I do, that's what he wants.

"Hyung... Can you please enlighten me mo-" I said in a whisper-like-tone but he cut me off.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out, baby." He smiled a little that made my heart ache. What's this? What is this I'm feeling? Why?

And how many years should I waste to wait for the answer again?
