I thought about Nick. I was texting August at the moment.
August: So we gon' meet up tonight?
Me: Never
August: Stop playing
Me: Later tonight I promise
August: Skyler, I'm outside so open the door
I walked downstairs to open the door for August. I saw him standing there with candy, and a huge teddy bear.
"Next time bring me a Despicable Me minion. The chubby one."
"You funny."
"I'm so serious."
"I brought you candy and a teddy bear so can I at least get a kiss?"
I gave August a kiss. "No sex though. I have to be married."
August smiled at me. "It'll be soon."
"Wanna take me to dinner?"
"No."
"Pwease baby."
"Fine."
I wanted to ask August what he meant by "It'll be soon." I hope he wasn't thinking about getting me a ring pop, cuz that ain't what I'm talking about. I want a real diamond ring.
