Mega Man X Reader Oneshots

Protoman X Reader

(It took me two whole days to start on this, I'm sorry XD I was sick and stuff.
But hey, I got an E-Tank coffee mug, so that's something XD)

You aimed your buster at your enemy and fired. You were in an incredibly dramatic (and pretty epic, might I add) battle. The Wily robot master fell to the ground, then got up and retreated. You went on to shoot some other guys, blah blah blah, until you came across one who had a red helmet with a white marking and a yellow scarf that flowed in the wind. For some reason, you hesitated firing at him. You lowered your weapon and stared at him. He stared back, though you couldn't tell because of his (super cool 0w<) shades. His buster was still aimed straight at you, but he wasn't firing.

After a long pause, you spoke. "I'm not going to fight you." He lowered his weapon. "Well, then I'm not going to fight you either."
You both stood there for a while. "What's your name?" You asked him. "...Protoman. What's yours?" "(Y/n)." "Uh... nice name."
There was an awkward silence.

Then something hit the back of your head. You collapsed to the ground. "Owwww....." Protoman immediately fired at the one who hit you, who was (surprise surprise) a Wily robot master. It didn't hit him, but was enough to make him flinch. "Leave (Y/n) alone! They aren't fighting, can't you see that? Go pick on someone who will fight back!" The robot master just startled and ran away. "...Are you okay?" He reached out his hand, which you gladly took. He helped you up. "Yeah... thanks for saving me and all." "No problem." Then there was an explosion somewhere. Protoman turned towards the source of the explosion. "Oh... uh, I guess I should go check on that. Maybe fight Mega Man or something." He shrugs, then smiles at you. "I'm sure we'll meet again." He teleported away.
