Chapter 24

Veronica's POV

"Darling hurry up! Everyone's waiting to enjoy the sunshine!" My mom yelled.

"Gosh, I'm coming!" I said as I slipped on a few rings.

I quickly rubbed sunscreen on myself, and checked myself out in the mirror. I wore a black high-low skirt, with a crop top. My wavy hair led down. For once, I actually felt beautiful.

"Gosh Veronica! Are you dead?" Fredo yelled.

I groaned and walked out of the bedroom.

Justin saw me and whistled.

"My pretty little lady" He said and smirked.

I blushed.

"Veronica, you pretty" Jazzy said.

I cooed and thanked her.

"Took you long enough." Fredo mumbled in annoyance.

"Shut up, you..." I looked at Jazzy and Jaxon.

I couldn't swear at Fredo.

"Dinosaur"

Fredo scoffed.

"Dinosaurs are extinct" He said smartly.

"Exactly..." I said and smirked.

"Wait! I'm a dinosaur...so I'm extinct?!" Fredo gasped.

"Gosh, Fredo you're so dumb" Ryan said.

"Alright stop it you guys, now let's decide where everyone's going to sit!" Pattie said.

"I wanna go with Veronica, just us." Justin said the last part loudly.

"Alright, I'll take Mrs. Jade-"

"Linda" My mom corrected with a grin.

"Linda, Jazzy, Jaxon, Ryan and Alfredo" Pattie said.

"Perfect, c'mon!" Justin grabbed my arm and quickly left the mansion.

"Ouh, someone's excited to spend with me" I teased.

Justin chuckled, and opened the car door for me. I smiled and sat inside. Justin closed the door and jogged to the other side. He started the engine and sped away from the mansion.

While we were driving, silence filled the air. Justin turned on the video. I love it by Icona Pop came on.

"I got this feeling on a summer day when you were gone..." I sang.

Justin grinned and began singing along. We both sang along together at the chorus and created a bunch of smiles and laughter. Justin leaned over and pecked my cheek.

After the song finished a commercial came on. Justin groaned and switched the station.

"Ah, shit!" Justin grinned and turned the volume louder.

Bands A Make Her Dance by Juicy J came on.

Justin started jamming to the song and does hand gestures and bobs his head. I softly giggled and Justin and looked at him in shock..

"Bands a make her dance, bands a make her dance. All these chicks poppin pussy. I'm just poppin bands." Justin sang.

"Oh my gosh" I mumbled in embarrassment and looked away.

Justin laughs and turns the volume down lower.

"Why are you laughing? Are you making fun of me?" He asked.

"Justin you can't... you're not ghetto" I laughed.

"Yes I am babe" He says seriously but cracks a small smile.

"Stop." I laughed.

"What? Did you just say turn up the music? Okay!" Justin says and blasts the volume louder.

He continued to jam to the music. I looked straight ahead, ignoring him.

Justin laughed and turned the music back down.

"I'm kidding babe." He said and placed his hand on my thigh.

"You're adorable" I said.

"Thanks, but I prefer the word sexy" He smirked.

I mentally rolled my eyes.

Justin's hand reached higher, trying to reach my panties.

I grabbed his wrist and interlocked our fingers.

Justin lightly smiled.

Afterwards we reached the beach. The ocean was as blue as the sky, there weren't many people around surprisingly. Shops were lined against each other above the shore. 

"Wow this is beautiful" I said in amazement. 

Justin nodded his head in agreement. We stepped out of the car and causally stood next to it, waiting for Pattie to arrive. 

A few moments later Pattie came. I could hear Jazzy and Jaxon cheering in joy. Justin chuckled lightly, opening the door for them. Everyone got out and inhaled the fresh air of the Bahamas. 

"I'm gonna take Jazzy and Jaxon to the ice cream shop we spotted a few minutes from the beach." Pattie said

We all nodded and my mom tagged along. Ryan and Fredo ran towards the beach carrying a football. 

"Wanna go explore the shops?" Justin suggested

I nodded and we laced fingers, then we began walking to the shops. 

We walked into a shop that had souvenirs. 

"Babe, does this shirt look good on me?" Justin asked and held a white t-shirt with a scenery onto his chest. 

I nodded and smiled. 

"Don't you want anything?" Justin asked. 

"No I didn't see anything so far that caught my attention." 

Justin nodded and continued finding shirts. 

I walked around a bit more and spotted some jewelry. I walked towards it and began examining the bracelets and rings. 

"Do you like those?" A deep soft voice spoke behind me. 

"Yeah" I said and turned around. 

My heart skipped a beat when my eyes locked with Jason McCann...
