Mikasa was still in the hospital...its been a couple of week's. She isnt getting better.
Eren was next to Mikasa holding her hand. Mikasa was connected to even more tubes than before.
"Eren..do you think you can get me some water" Mikasa said weakly
"Of course babe, do you need anything else?
"No just water" Mikasa told him.
Eren went to go get mikasa some water.Mikasa decided to text Ymir.
Mikasa: Ymir?
Ymir: Hey Mikasa,how you feeling?
Mikasa: Eh..not the best
Ymir: Are you able to breathe any better
Mikasa: a little...im just tired of being in the hospital
Ymir: I know mikasa, I would be too.
Mikasa: Also..my birthday is coming up..and i dont want to be in the hospital!
Ymir: Well..ask the doctors if you can leave for that day.
Mikasa: Alright, thanks Ymir
Ymir: Anytime Mika..i mean Mikasa!! 😅
Mikasa: Its okay...you can call me Mika...
Ymir: Really!? Awesome! Ttyl
Mikasa: Ttyl
Mikasa finished texting Ymir and she sat and waited for Eren. He was taking quite a while so she decided to talk to one of the doctors.
She clicked the red button.Which tells the nurse that a patient needs assistance. The nurse rushed in.
"Mikasa...is everything alright!?
"Yes...i just need to talk to you..
The doctor sits next to Mikasa.
"What is it?"
"Well...my birthday is in a few days..and i was wondering if i could get out of the hospital on that day....
"I dont know sweety...your connected to alot of tubes...an-!
Mikasa interupts her.
"I dont need these tubes..."
"Yes you do dear! The nurse said worried
"No i dont!!
Mikasa starts pulling of the tubes.
"Mikasa!! Stop!! The nurse yelled.
"No...i can breathe on my own!
"No Mikasa!! Your ribs arent stable!! The nurse said.
Mikasa got out of the hospital bed and stood up. She was breathing heavy and her face was pale.
"S-see...i g-got this...Mikasa said trying to catch her breath.
Eren walked in and immediately dropped the water when he saw mikasa.
"Mikasa!! What are you doing!?
"Im proving the nurse wrong!! I can breathe on my o-!
Mikasa passed out...Eren ran up to her and caught her.
"What happened while i was gone!? Eren asked
"She called me in here to talk about her birthday..she asked if she could get out the hospital on that day.
"....Her birthday...? Eren asked
"Yes....its in about 4 days...
"Oh...well she never told me...
"Well maybe theres a reason...
"Yeah" Eren said with his head down.
Eren and the nurse placed Mikasa back on the hospital bed and re-fixed the tubes.
"She should be fine now...The black haired nurse told Eren.
"Thanks Mam" Eren said as the nurse left the room....
Mikasa was passed out for hours. Her breathing seemed to slowly be gettinf better. She finally woke up after 4 hours of waiting.
"Ughh.." Mikaaa said holding her arm up to her head.
"Babe..why didnt you tell me!
"Tell you what?" Mikasa asked
"That your birthday is in 4 days!!
"Because.....listen...i dont want to talk about it..."Mikasa said as she turned around not facing Eren.
"Oh...Sorry..."
Mikasa's parents died on her birthday...she wanted to get out the hospital so she could go to there graves,she does that every birthday.
Mikasa started to cry.
"Mikasa?" Eren said
"W-what?" Mikasa asked
"Are you crying?"
"N-no...im not... leave me alone. Mikasa said as she wiped her face.
"Mikasa...i know your crying.." Eren told her
"So what...who cares..." Mikasa said sitting up and staring at the ground.
"I care...im your boyfriend!" Eren told her
"....."
"Mikasa...what happened??
"I told you Eren...i dont want to talk about it.
"Please Mikasa..."
"NO EREN..STOP ASKING!....damn..
"S...sorry" Eren told her
Mikasa said softly."Sorry for raising my voice...i just need some time alone..."Mikasa told him.
"A-Alright...Eren said as he got up and kissed Mikasa's forhead and left out the room.
"I miss you mom and dad...but dont worry...ill be up in heaven with you guys soon..." Mikasa said with a faint smile.
Mikasa layed down and started to think about the awesome moments she had with her parents.
Flashback:
"Come on Mikasa! You can do it!" Her mom yelled out
"Thats my girl! Her dad said.
Flashback 2:
"Happy Birthday Sweety...!" Her dad said
"Your getting big...!" Mikasa's mother said.
"Yeah im turning 9!! Aha!
End of flashback
Mikasa started to cry again, but it was a happy cry. She was happy because her parents are safe in heaven.
